The best Investment Opportunities in the Gambling Industry

0

Investors, both large and small, know the importance of seizing the opportunity once it presents itself. One opportunity to go into an innovative and profitable industry is on everyone’s mind lately – and that’s an investment in the gambling industry.

The industry is growing as it hasn’t before, mostly due to the changes in the technology behind it, but also because the gambling demographic is changing. A smart investor should take advantage of that and support the industry now. It’s a good way to make a steady profit and to help build new ventures and new technologies from the ground floor.

Multiple investment opportunities

Casinos are what everyone has in mind when they think about the gambling industry, but that’s not the only investment opportunity that this field offers. Many are investing in developing gambling software since online gambling is on the rise more than any traditional casinos.

This also includes numerous other technological breakthroughs that will find their use in the gambling industry. The most lucrative of these so far is virtual reality technology, with its numerous applications in gambling and beyond.

A growing market

Online gambling is a lucrative market for decades now, but it has recently expanded further and faster than before. That’s partly because access to phones, tablets, and a fast internet connection is more widely available. On the other hand, younger players are more used to virtual rather than real-life experiences, and they present a natural demographic for this product.

Things have only sped up in this regard, due to the restrictions brought about by the covid19 pandemic. All of these changes combine to present a fruitful environment for online gambling and many investors are looking for ways to cash in on that.

Mobile gambling

There are two major ways in which online gambling trends. One is the attempt to replicate the experience of a real-life casino with live events, lush design, and VR technology. All of this is new but it’s slowly becoming a large part of the industry that the casinos are trying to push for.

The second, equally important trend is the rise of mobile gambling. Gambling games on your phone is less complex, but it’s an equally important market. Casual gamers that use their phones to play simple and quick games, should be on the investors’ minds since it’s a marker that’s growing and it’s going to continue to grow for years.

New Markets

Another important change to take into account when it comes to investing in online gambling is that it’s a truly global endeavor at this point. More and more countries are making it possible for their citizens to gamble online. At the same time, more countries have citizens that have enough disposable income to gamble online.

It’s an opportune moment for both the casinos and the investors. Casinos need to invest in their infrastructure in order to support this influx of players and investors can hope to get their returns quickly.

How Much Can You Profit?

It’s not always easy to figure out how much you can profit from such a complicated investment. It’s best to start with a return per player which is a metric that shows how much a casino earns from each player. For the most part, it ranges from 3 to 20 percent of the players’ wages on each game.

The key to success, therefore, is to attract enough players and to keep them coming back. This means that this business has a huge potential, but as is the case with any other investment there are some risks as well.

What Are the Challenges Facing Investors?

Investors should also be aware of the challenges and risks that come with investing in the online gambling industry. These are not a reason to give up on the investment itself but it’s useful to have them in mind when making business decisions.

Laws and regulations

Many countries have strict and complex regulations regarding gambling. Some do not allow for it at all while others pose various restrictions on the industry. There are also taxes and regulations that apply to all businesses. All of these can complicate the matter for the investors, but they are a common price of doing business.

Scammers and hackers

Since all the gameplay and all the financing is happening online, providing a safe environment for your players. This means protecting them from scammers and hackers and making sure that both their money and their personal data are kept safe online. It will require investing in the technology and infrastructure needed to do that, but that investment provides a reputation as a safe and trustworthy establishment.

Competition

As is the case with any other investment, competition within the industry may be one of the biggest challenges you’ll be facing. It’s a growing industry and many investors are looking for their way in, and that’s something to keep in mind from the get-go.

To Sum Up

Online gambling may be one of the best investing opportunities out there and it’s continuing to grow as an industry. That’s because the market for it is expanding and the technology required to gamble online has improved.

There are still challenges that investors will face when getting into the industry. Some of them are common, while others are unique to the world of gambling. Regardless of these, investing in online gambling can be a source of profit for years to come.

Disney Is About To Close Their 2 Charlotte-Area Stores – The Last Remaining Locations in NC

0

2 Charlotte-area Disney stores will be closing next month, one in Concord Mills, and one in the SouthPark Mall. With Raleigh’s Disney store now closed, next month’s Charlotte-area closings will mark Disney’s official exit from the state of North Carolina.

In an interview with USA Today, Disney said they are now expecting to close a total of 60 stores across the United States this year.

The company said they were reducing the number of physical stores to focus more on their online retail business.

“While consumer behavior has shifted toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what consumers expect from a retailer,” said Stephanie Young, Disney’s president of consumer products. “We now plan to create a more flexible, interconnected e-commerce experience that gives consumers easy access to unique, high-quality products across all our franchises.”

NC’s Juniper Level Botanic Garden Hitting The Big Screen

0
Contacted by members of the production team, Juniper Level Botanic Garden and Plant Delights Nursery supplied forty-five specifically requested plants for The Starling, an upcoming Netflix film starring Melissa McCarthy, Chris O’Dowd, Kevin Kline, and Timothy Olyphant.
A comedy-drama, The Starling explores how nature can help us get through our most challenging times. Lilly (McCarthy), already dealing with grief, hardship, and guilt, becomes comically obsessed with killing a starling that has nested near her backyard garden and begins to harass and attack her. Turning to a local vet, Larry (Kline), the pair strike up an unlikely friendship and work through their own problems together. The film, directed by Theodore Melfi, is based on a Matt Harris screenplay.
The Starling world premiere will be at the Toronto Film Festival in September and is expected on the Netflix schedule this fall. “I hope our plants made the cut,” said Tony Avent, founder and proprietor of Juniper Level Botanic Garden. “I’ll be looking for them in the movie.”
Juniper Level Botanic Garden, a $7.5 million gift from Anita and Tony Avent to NC State University, will open two weekends in September for public viewing and plant purchases. “Each season, we schedule two open garden and nursery weekends,” said Avent.
Fall visitation weekends will be September 17-19 and 24-26. These are the last public visitation weekends until February 2022. Admission is free, and hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 8 AM until 5 PM and Sundays 1-5 PM. Nursery sales provide operational funding for the garden.
Established in 1988 on a two-acre tract 12-miles south of downtown Raleigh, not-for-profit Juniper Level Botanic Garden has grown into a 28-acre educational, research, and display garden. Avent has participated in 13 foreign and 60 domestic plant expeditions over the past 25 years, amassing one of the world’s most diverse plant collections.
“Currently, we have just over 27,000 different kinds of plants,” explained Avent. “That makes our botanic garden one of the top five collections in the United States. It’s essential for human society to share plants; it’s critical that we not allow plants to go extinct. The rarer a plant is, the more it should be shared. We believe in getting plants where they will thrive and become abundant. Every plant has a place, and every plant has a purpose.”

Online Gambling Industry – What’s Going to Happen?

0

Online gambling is a promising business area, which will only strengthen its position in the global economy in the future. According to the Market Research Report, the gambling business will generate $74.2 billion in profit in 2021, and this figure will only grow in the future. The annual growth rate will be 11.4% at least until the end of the decade. In 2028, the capitalization of online gambling will amount to $158.2 billion.

Industry Prospects

Online gambling is not just developing in parallel with the global economy, but almost three times exceeds it in terms of growth (11.4% versus 4% predicted by the World Bank). So, every time you play Wildlife slot Ca, you make a contribution to the above numbers.

The main reasons for the active development of the industry are as follows:

  • Availability of gambling entertainment – To start playing, gamers only need stable access to the Internet. Users do not need to leave their comfort zone to visit the virtual hall with slot machines. The availability of casino games is also affected by the increase in gamblers’ income. Accordingly, they spend more money on iGaming services.
  • Implementation of IT tools – Launching a casino business is an excellent springboard for using AI, blockchain transfers, Big Data algorithms, and other technologies.
  • Loyalty to legislation – In 2021, governments in many countries allowed online gambling to boost local government revenues. To run a respectable business, entrepreneurs only need to work within the law and follow the principles of responsible gaming.
  • Active sponsorship – Operators are actively attracting famous people to advertising: celebrities, athletes, TV presenters, etc. This approach increases the target audience.
  • Simple controls – iGaming is an industry unaffected by real estate prices, labor costs, quarantine measures, and other factors that land-based businesses face. The industry is less exposed to financial risks, which has a positive effect on profits.

Using Digital Technologies

The use of modern IT solutions is one of the key indicators of the growth of the iGaming industry. Market Research Report analysts highlight such technological advances that will be relevant in the next 5-7 years:

#1 – Blockchain

The blockchain cryptographic system is used for:

  • Conducting fast, anonymous, and secure transfers from anywhere in the world;
  • Creation of multiplayer games with improved gameplay;
  • Honest control of online casinos.

Blockchain solves the problems of trust between users and a gambling site. The technology keeps all records of transactions: credited funds, completed rounds, paid bonuses, etc. Gamers can access the transaction history and verify the operator’s solvency

#2 – Artificial Intelligence

Machine learning algorithms are becoming more and more popular in gambling. They are mainly used to:

  • Manage chatbots – smart assistants that play the game on behalf of the platform and solve a number of technical problems;
  • Collect and analyze information about user preferences;
  • Identify gamers with signs of gambling addiction.

AI makes casino sites safer by identifying customers with gambling addiction. AI-powered casino software tracks problematic gamblers by analyzing linked accounts

#3 – VR and AR

The use of virtual and augmented reality helps:

  • Provide an immersive gaming experience based on interaction with the 3D rendering of casino tables;
  • Improve social interaction (gamers can see themselves and other clients in a three-dimensional environment);
  • Expand the geography of the game (users can visit different casinos every day using a VR headset).

These are some of the tech solutions that are massively integrated into the gambling industry. More of them are to come in the future.

8 Things To Consider When Buying Investment Properties Overseas

0

There’s a reason why most people invest in real estate overseas compared to other investment opportunities. For one, it holds a promise of profits and revenues, especially when you’ve landed an ideal location. Due to the ultimate need for residents and businesses to occupy space for their homes and business, real estate always comes with stable demand. This makes it a safer industry for people to engage in without incurring significant risks as other investments do.

However, although it sounds appealing to know about the financial returns, buying real estate in other countries needs to be thoroughly studied because you’ll be locked into this purchase in the long term. So, if you’re trying to enter the real estate business overseas, you must take into account the following variables:

1. Know Your Purpose

If you buy a property overseas, knowing your purpose is probably your most important consideration as it’ll directly impact everything. Why do you want to purchase real estate in a specific city, town, or country? For example, if you’re going to buy new homes Luton has to offer, you should know your purpose. Are you buying it as a business or are you going to move in anytime soon? You may have to set short-term and long-term goals on what to achieve and think of why you want to acquire property there.

In the case of an investment property purchase, all financial decisions should be based on the expected return. However, if you plan to relocate to the home you bought recently, you need to think about standard factors such as the neighborhood and local amenities.

2. Approach Professionals

Nothing beats the advantages of professionals working beside you on this investment journey. After all, it requires a significant investment and viable processes.

You should first hire a local lawyer to deal with the legal aspects of buying properties overseas. Additionally, you should get in touch with local realtors so you can understand the market, stay organized, and find the best deal. They can also guide you on what factors to consider when you decide to update your overseas home.

With these two professionals, you’ll make your overseas real estate purchase seem more manageable.

3. Be Aware Of The Regulations And Procedures

Regulations and rules differ from market to market. Overseas property investments are subject to different procedures and regulations, and these may change periodically. Therefore, it’s imperative to take the time to research local law and regulations, as well as the professional property market in your preferred location.

Knowing these legal aspects and procedures will help you understand the actual status of your investment.

4. Consider Funding

After you’ve understood your purpose, you’re now more motivated to invest in a property outside of your home country. Now, the next crucial part is its funding.

You need to secure finance since international laws are involved. Whatever funding method you’re going for, whether you pay in cash or through loans, seek advice from your lawyer regarding the country’s legal regulations. Ensure that you can safeguard your down payment or safety deposits.

5. Be Aware Of The Tax Implications

Investments in foreign real estate are also subject to tax implications. This will depend on the country you’re buying the property from, so spend some time studying the rules regarding their taxes.

Keep in mind that if you lease or rent the property, you’ll receive taxable passive income on it. You should consult your accountant before purchasing a property, having it rent out, or even selling it in the future.

6. Prepare On How The Property Will Be Managed

Property management is required for most foreign investments. Thus, to manage your investment when you’re not there, you’ll need a third-party management company.

Many third-party property management firms can help you with this. You won’t have to find a local company, too, since even your home country might provide overseas property management services. The key is to partner with a firm that can manage your property well.

7. Take The Developer Into Account

Buying a property that’s still under construction entails higher risks than purchase one that’s already finished. Suppose the project runs into several difficulties, and you won’t be able to physically or personally visit or inspect the place. Hence, it’s best to find a credible developer when choosing to invest in properties overseas.

8. Have A Contingency Plan

Even well-conceived plans can, at times, go awry no matter where you are in the process of purchasing property overseas. This is why preparing a contingency plan seems to be a bright idea, just in case something terrible happens. Thus, any potential inconveniences resulting from a possible financial loss will be avoided.

Conclusion

There’s no need to be intimidated when buying property overseas. Staying up to date with the laws and regulations in the country where you’re investing can ease your stress. Moreover, taking into account the considerations mentioned above will help you decide which property is the best for your investment plans.

Dealing With Denied Claims

0

Reimbursement constantly shifts in the healthcare industry. So far, the revenue year for medical systems and healthcare operators has not been particularly fruitful. Profits and stock prices for some leading industries have plummeted (read more), putting a tremendous strain on the healthcare staff and resources. At the same time, the number of medical claim denials has increased by 11% nationwide, affecting most healthcare establishments’ revenues.

Based on research, there are several contributing factors to this issue. Some contributing factors include a lack of resources, backlogs, insufficient training, and outdated technology. Taken together, researchers say that staff education and training and the use of advanced technology may help cut denials, and in turn, a decline in lost revenue.

The good news for hospitals, according to analysts, is that most claim denials are potentially avoidable! And the key to avoiding that is prevention. With that in mind, knowing the root cause may be the best solution to avoid hospital revenue loss.

What Is a Medical Claim?

This refers to a bill that a healthcare provider (e.g doctor) should submit to the patient’s insurance company documenting the services that the patient has received. This bill contains a list of medical codes that define any services that have been administered during patient visit, including the diagnosis. This is a step that is the first utilized before you actually receive the payment.

Making A Claim

Making medical claims to be reimbursed for the services you provide should be simple: provide the service(s), contact Lexington, make a claim, and receive service fees.

However, not as straightforward as it seems, there are numerous potential pitfalls before getting revenue. The process may range from coding and data errors to claim edits made by your patients. And it can either be approved, rejected, or denied.

One factor to consider is the management of the claim process. Poor management can be a hindrance to the financial health of the establishment and to your practice. So avoiding denied claims should be one thing you should be mindful of. Learn more from: https://coa.org/docs/WhitePapers/Clearinghouses.pdf.

  • Missing or Incorrect Coding Causes Delays!

In making a medical claim, it is important to note the frustrations you might encounter— especially on those small details that matter the most! Make sure to double-check the information you’re putting on the bill and ensure that they are detailed correctly. If not, this can cause delayed claims that may take a lot of your time.

For the reimbursement, there has always been a time frame that is established for each patient. The period between the date of service and the filing deadline is usually 90 days, but it can be as short as 15 to 30 days in some cases. If you fail to submit a claim within the specified time frame, you will be forced to write off any associated charges. And the payers aren’t billed when a provider fails to submit the appropriate bill on time to the patient.

  • Manual Coding

Human errors are inevitable, and by far, the most common reason for claim denials, fines, and revenue losses. These won’t just lead to high denial rates, but may also compromise patient care.

In making a medical claim, several confusing codes can be frustrating to the healthcare staff. It will be difficult for you to get the payment from the payer unless all of the necessary documentation has been accurately collected.

But as mentioned, claim denials are often avoidable— especially with claim management software!

Manual coding can be complex, but working with up-to-date software will not only provide you with real-time clean claims, it will also make it easier for you to spot coding errors that could lead to denials. See this Alpha II zero balance review about revenue intelligence platform. It’s critical to invest in software that provides the latest medical billing codes since they change frequently.

This can simplify complications, eliminate redundant procedures, and remove inefficiencies. At the same time, this relieves other health staff of administrative burdens, allowing them to devote more time to provide high-quality care. This, in turn, will make the rate of patient satisfaction higher.

Patients who receive exceptional care and are satisfied with their healthcare experience are more likely to return to the hospital. In fact, according to a report, hospitals in the United States with an excellent patient experience had net margins that were 50% higher on average than those with a poor customer experience.

North Carolina 1 Step Closer To Legalizing Marijuana

0

North Carolina might soon become the 39th state in America to legalize marijuana.

Republican Senator Bill Rabon’s SB 711 just unanimously passed the Senate Judiciary Committee and now moves on to the Senate’s health care committee.

The current version of the bill would allow prescriptions for; cancer, epilepsy, PTSD, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease, multiple sclerosis, wasting syndrome, severe nausea, and other ‘debilitating medical conditions of the same kind’. If passed in it’s current form, this would be the most restrictive medical marijuana law in the nation.

Currently 37 states have legalized marijuana in some form, with Mississippi finalizing the details of their newly passed medical marijuana law.

With the mostly unanimous support across party lines North Carolina’s new bill has received, it will likely go for a Senate vote in the coming days or weeks.

If passed in the Senate, the vote would then move onto the House, where most Democrats would likely vote for it, but it’s unclear how many Republicans would do likewise.

What do you think about the new bill?

Do you think marijuana should be legalized medically or recreationally, or do you think it should remain outlawed?
