Controls, scoring & the real road

Steer with Left/Right or A/D. Hold Space to boost; release to recharge. On a phone, use the buttons or swipe horizontally on the game. P or Escape pauses. Leaving the tab pauses automatically. Sound is optional. The game uses three health points; a collision resets your combo and briefly protects you from another hit.

Gold crown coins appear in random trails. Each coin adds 50 points multiplied by your current combo. Every level has 25 seconds of traffic followed by a two-second warning and a 12-second Street Takeover boss wave. Dodge dirtbikes, motorcycles, and barricades until the takeover meter empties. Escaping adds 1,000 points multiplied by the level number, refills boost, and opens the next level. The takeover crews and incidents are fictional.

Score grows as you drive. Boost doubles driving points. Close passes add points and extend a six-second combo. Clearing each interchange adds 250 points. Cross all eight interchanges to refill one health point and start a tougher round. Your high score stays on this browser, without an account.

The route follows I-485 Outer east from I-77 (Exit 67): South Boulevard/Pineville (65), NC 51 (64), Johnston Road/US 521 (61), Rea Road (59), Providence Road/NC 16 (57), Weddington Road (54), E John Street (52), and Independence Boulevard/US 74 (51). Signs use verified road names and interchange numbers; multi-ramp interchanges are grouped in the game. Lane layouts, ramp geometry, distances, vehicles, and hazards are simplified for arcade play. This is not a driving simulator or a live traffic report.
