0

The Carolina Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera has just confirmed that 2nd string QB Kyle Allen will be starting for the Panthers this coming Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

“Cam is going to continue his rehab,” Coach Rivera commented. “As I told you guys last week, we’re not putting any pressure on Cam. He’s done a great job doing the things that we’ve asked of him. He’s gone above and beyond in terms of working with our quarterbacks and helping them along the way. He’s just going to continue to do his program.”

The Panthers have now won 4 games in a row with Allen in the starting position and many fans want him to continue to start, even when Cam Newton is cleared to play, as long as he is winning.

Who do you think should be the starting QB once Cam is cleared?

How to Stay Safe and Healthy While Travelling

0

The travel bug is living in all of us. Moreover, the only thing that you need is one right destination to wake it up. Many people say that traveling can heal your emotional wounds, but the truth is that a lot of the adventures which we decide to take on end up being pretty bumpy and filled with ups and downs. Many people cannot think of leaving the comfort of their own home and start traveling. In addition, one of the main reasons for many of those people is the fear of not being able to stay safe and healthy in an unknown country.

Yoga – The Way out

Yoga is becoming more and more popular with people of all generations. This is because it helps you to coordinate your mind, body, and spirit. Yoga can relieve you from all the stress and anxiety that will build up over the long traveling, and with sleeping being the problem for a lot of people that are traveling it sure can help you improve that too! You can find thousands and thousands of hotels and hostels that are offering yoga as a part of their plans, and we say that you should surely try it!

Hiking is a great way to get your daily dose of exercise while you treat your brain to the tranquility and the fresh air that hiking can offer. All you need to do is find a bit of time and venture out in the wild all by yourself. This will clear your mind up, and give you a healthy dose of exercise that you surely need!

Sleep is everything for you!

A lot of people underestimate the power that sleep has over your body and your overall health. However, getting enough sleep (especially when you’re traveling) is crucial. All you need to do to keep your health at its optimal levels is to find a comfortable place (like a hostel), take some time, and recharge your batteries.

You will lose a lot of liquids – Hydrate!

Staying hydrated during your journeys is also an essential thing for your health. After all, you won’t be able to continue with your trip if you are dehydrated. The fact of the matter is that your trip can quickly take a wrong turn when you’re continually exposing yourself to hot weather and sweat and you’re not drinking the needed amounts of water! You can take some water purification pills if you don’t think that the water is drinkable, and make sure that you always have a reusable bottle with you!

Learn the Language!

If you are planning on staying for a longer period at the same place, then your best bet would be to learn the language. This will help you a lot in communication (obviously), but it will also enrich your traveling experience.

The best example of this would be South America. You would think that there are a lot of people that are speaking the English language, but you would be wrong. In fact, you wouldn’t find many English speakers there. Therefore, the best bet for you, to understand your situation and get out of problems easier would be to learn Spanish.

The best way to achieve this is not by going on a traditional language course. I would recommend you to find the best online language course for the language that you’re trying to learn and spend some time learning it.

Do your Research!

When you are visiting bigger locations, you should always do your research on which parts of the city are safe for tourists and which ones aren’t. One can have a fair share of conflicts with people because of the origin. So, make sure that you don’t make the same mistakes, and find the safest areas in that town.

Make sure that you do your research on these parts, but you should also speak to a local Hotel or apartment owner. These guys know the city much better than you do, and they will be happy to help you out!

Secure Your Things!

This should be your primary concern when you’re traveling from one place to another, and you’re carrying all of your belongings. Make sure that you always have them in your line of sight.

“A fantastic tip for when you are traveling with a backpack is to use the rain cover to protect yourself from being robbed”, says one of the travelers in Pro-Papers research.

Pickpockets love big places such as airports and bus stations. So, make sure that you never give them a chance to pickpocket you by keeping an eye on your belongings!

There are tons of anti-theft products, such as anti-theft bags, backpacks, etc., make sure to use some of these to make the job harder for the thieves!

Do not use ATMs!

If you’ve never heard of skimming, it’s the process where people use some kind of technique to read your credit card information and steal it from you so that they can take your money down the road. Now, when you know what it means, you should know that many ATMs at popular traveling locations are being manipulated.

Therefore, the best bet for you as a traveler is to make direct withdrawals at the bank during the off-peak-hours in areas that are public such as bus stations, airports, and shopping malls!
