Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden celebrates autumn with the annual, family-friendly Bootanical held on Oct. 26 and 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Children are encouraged to wear costumes for free admission to the event and Garden.

Fall is a season to celebrate as cooler weather and autumn colors sweep across the Carolinas. Join the Garden for activities and crafts inspired by the season and upcoming holiday, Halloween! Children will have the opportunity to participate in a costume parade each day at both noon and 2 p.m., listen to a story at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., create all sorts of seasonal crafts, engage in fall activities, have their faces painted, and more. Carriage rides are available for $6 per adult and $4 per child (cash only).

The Beer Garden will feature craft brews and live music from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 by Jade Moore and Sunday, Oct. 27 by Daniel Jeffers. The Garden Store and a food truck onsite will serve lunch, snacks, treats and beverages available for purchase.

Bootanical is free with Garden admission and all children wearing costumes will also receive free admission. Garden members are admitted free, $14.95 adults, $12.95 seniors 60+, and $7.95 children 2-12. The Garden is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
