Economic Recovery in Charlotte Surpasses National Efforts

While the economic damages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic begin to wane, important economic markers have been showing better times ahead for Charlotte North Carolina.

Unemployment Down, Employment Up

According to a newly released Bureau of Labor Statistics report, unemployment in the area has fallen steadily. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2020, unemployment has fallen almost 3 points, dropping down to nearly 3%. At the same time, the average unemployment rate in the greater United States sits at 3.9%, this should come as welcome news to citizens fearing for their economic future. In fact, it’s currently estimated that Charlotte will see a job increase of nearly 50% over the next ten years, an over 20% increase over US predictions. This comes on the back of major growth in several key industries that will likely provide jobs for decades to come, like the growing tech, professional services, and hospitality industries in the area. But even with the continued growth of the local economy, supply shock is still causing undue effects on the local populace.

Consumer Price Index Rising

With supply issues and inflation affecting the price of consumer goods across the country, the local scene is no different. Over a 12-month period, energy costs have gone up more than 30%, with Charlotte only doing slightly better than the US average. Food prices have also increased 5.5% over the same period, .6% below the national average. Some of the biggest changes in price come from the automotive industry, with an over 20% increase over 12 months, so if you were planning on buying a car, you might want to hold off. Both housing and clothing costs have also increased, each having more than a 5% increase in cost. With prices rising across nearly every industry, citizens might wonder what their government plans to do to help control prices.

Charlotte Releases 2022 Budget

With the release of the 2022 budget, the Charlotte city government has opened its plan for economic recovery up to public scrutiny. Luckily for property owners, the city has no plans to increase your property taxes, while still maintaining the services you hold dear. For environmentalists, a bit of good news is the cities allocation of nearly $5 million dollars towards creating a more sustainable city, with about $1 million dollars going towards replacing 22 vehicles with fully electric ones. This development brings the city of Charlotte one step closer to its goal of replacing 100% of its vehicles with zero-carbon sources. The budget also comes with the city’s “Capital Investment Plan”, with over $100 million dedicated to building infrastructure in the city. For citizens, this means over $50 million dedicated to helping build and maintain affordable housing in the area. There’s also a planned $50 million investment into the government’s Pedestrian Safety Program, meaning new sidewalks, bike trails, and additional improvements to the roads and street lamps around the city.

Protect Your Financial Future

While current estimates may look good for the greater Charlotte area’s economy, a crisis can strike at any time. That’s why it’s a good idea to help protect your financial future with a dividend-focused research service that can help you grow your retirement account. Over at TheStockDork, they’ve made it their mission to provide readers with some of the best ways to start building real wealth. 8 Ways on How to Effectively Crack GRE Without Coaching

Graduate Record Exam, or GRE, is a test administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service) to assess graduates’ technical knowledge and readiness. Since GRE tests patterns, it is impossible to cram. The only way to increase your GRE score is to allocate adequate time to prepare.

While coaching is a great option to score well in an exam, it may not be necessary. You can follow a comprehensive self-study with dedication and discipline to achieve your desired score.

Here are some tips to help you.

  1. Start Preparations Early

There is no doubt that the GRE is a detailed test that requires comprehensive preparation. To successfully ace the GRE, you need to start preparations early enough, at least 2 to 3 months. If possible, allocate about six months to go through the various topics and identify your weak and strong areas.

Nevertheless, there is no set time frame to prepare as this may vary from one individual to another. The point is to ensure that you get adequate preparation for the exam thoroughly.

2. Take Practice Tests

Like taking any detailed tests, one can get stressed and anxious, especially in the absence of optimum preparation. It is highly advisable to take practice tests to gain insight into what to expect in the main exam and prevent stress.By taking mock practice tests regularly, you will evaluate your performance and understand your weaker and stronger areas. What’s more, this can help hone your problem-solving skills to help you do better in the actual exam. You will also get accustomed to the real test conditions and pressure. You can get a free practice test from Magoosh,Manhattan or Kaplan.

3. Understand Your Weak Areas

One benefit of taking practice tests is helping you understand and target your weak areas. It will help you learn your pace and the areas that you have the most challenge tackling. Once you know these areas, find suitable study material that will give you more knowledge and hone your skill in that area.

4. Come Up with a Study Plan

With the understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, you will have an easy time developing an effective study plan. While this may vary from one person to another, a good tip is to adhere to a regular GRE study plan. Identify the area that requires more preparation and allocate more time to improve your GRE score.

5. Carefully Choose Your Study Material

With thousands of GRE materials available for your study, you need to take time and choose from those that will be relevant for your study. Otherwise, you might get into a panic trying to cover all the materials rather than focusing on sharpening your skills for the weak areas.

Also, ensure that the CRE materials are sourced from reputable sources only. Besides, you can download the official GRE prep based-learning app for more preparation. You can also utilize an online calendar for a more detailed study plan.

6. Monitor Your Progress

If you want to raise your GRE score, it is critical to evaluate your GRE test score improvements. A good tip is to develop a consistent technique for measuring your daily or weekly progress after taking each GRE exam.

Doing this will give you insight into the questions you usually do so well and those that prove challenging. Self-evaluation will also enable you to understand your pacing on practice exams so you can make the necessary changes to improve your GRE score goal.

7. Hone Your GRE Vocabulary

The GRE Verbal Reasoning constitutes the Reading Comprehension section and the Vocabulary section. To ace the vocabulary section, read many blogs, magazines, novels, and newspapers to help build your vocabulary.

Generally, this will help you understand the meaning of words and use them. Also, you will have an easy time writing the essay when you improve your literacy skills.

8. Understand the Quantitative Section

The Quant section in GRE is challenging to score and requires proper preparation. Generally, this section covers the essential high school mathematics reasoning skill. It is more like a brain teaser and will require you to understand the tricky questions to solve them successfully. Come up with an effective strategy for solving them rather than looking for short solutions.

Conclusion

While the GRE is considered a challenging test, improving your GRE score without coaching is possible. Follow the above tips to sharpen your GRE study techniques and improve your scores. Most importantly, trust your gut when solving questions to make a rational decision.

With more and more cases of hacking being reported all over the world, people are looking for solutions to keep their devices safe from hackers. People are now hiring professionals who can help them in keeping their device safe from any kind of online threats.

In this digital world, most businesses or even people are aware of the hacking system because it is dangerous and it will hack all your personal information. Within the hacking system, cell phone hacking has become a common and a popular hacking. You can easily hack someone else’s phone and you even have the option of hiring a hacker to spy on iPhone.

Hire a hacker to spy on iPhone

The most famous and popular thing right now is hiring a hacker to spy on an iPhone. When you see such a thing, we realize how much the technology has improved. We can find many certified professionals who are using their technical skills and technology to offer phone spying services.

There are many reasons why a person might be interested in monitoring other people’s phones. But most of all, hackers who like to spy on other people’s phones mostly fall into three categories.

The first and most important reason is married couples who will hire a hacker to spy on their wife’s phone. If partners think they are being tricked, they will hire a hacker to spy on the iPhone.

Nowadays even children start using the phone at an earlier stage. With an iPhone you can find many advanced features. So most kids like phones, and if parents want to monitor kids they can hire hackers

This will be a rare occurrence, but some companies offer their employees phones and use hacking services if they want to monitor employees.

How to hire a hacker?

When it comes to hiring a hacker to spy on an iPhone, there are a few things to follow that will help you find a professional and real hacker.

Although there are plenty of professional hackers available in the market. But still you have to choose a trusted hacker. So that in the future they may not access any information you share.

Hackers will work in different categories, so when choosing a hacker you need to make sure that the hacker has experience hacking the smartphone so that they can easily access and monitor the mobile phone.

There are a lot of tools and apps available online but when you use them, they try to fail completely. Most apps or tools will seem ineffective, so it’s best to hire a certified hacker.

How do hackers hack your iPhone?

Hire a professional hacker for iPhone hack. The iPhone is powered by an iOS operating system, and is considered the most secure device. So, most people think that it is difficult to spy on their device, but they do not think so. Using technical skills and technology, hackers can easily access the iPhone. There are many ways to hack someone else’s phone and spy on them, but there are some ways that hackers use the most.

  1. Link

This is one of the easiest ways to hack an iPhone using a link If another person clicks on the link, their phone will be easily hacked and you will be able to spy on them. If the target phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, it is easy to access encrypted traffic on the device. Although iPhones are good at preventing malware attacks, their mobiles can be hacked. Once the mobile is hacked, you can access all the information without them knowing.

  1. Apps

Although iPhones are more secure than Android phones, hacking iPhone devices is not impossible. App Store apps will be checked for cyber-attacks but still, we can spy on other iPhones through the app. If you hire a skilled hacker, they will create an app and the user will need to install the app. During installation, the app will ask for more information, then the target phone will be hacked.

This may seem difficult, but we can hack and spy on the phone if the target person has answered all the questions asked by the app.

  1. Username and password

Most spouses or parents only want to spy on their partner’s or children’s phone, so in this case, they will know the password of the phone. The process will be easier if they know the password or if they can physically access the phone. So, if you are able to physically access their phone, there is some software that you can install on their phone with the help of hackers. Once the software is installed you can constantly spy on them and they will not find anything suspicious. Even if they find it, it’s hard to solve, so it would be the best option for spying on your partner’s phone.

  1. Phone number

Even using a phone number, a hacker can spy on an iPhone and see all the information using a number. Through the phone number, it is possible to see all the social accounts linked to the phone number. This is a traditional method, even the simplest and cheapest hacking method.

If you want to access the phone in a short time, the hacker will help you access the phone with the number. It will ask some commands and after that, you can spy on the phone.

Where can I hire an iPhone hacker?

You can hire a hacker for iOS on the Dark Web. However, you can hire a reliable hacker to recruit from the global hacker team without going to a remote place. A hacker for hire is referred to as a computer programmer or tactical hacker. For some people, the mere thought of hiring a hacker may seem absurd, but acknowledge that it is often temporary.

If we hired a hacker to hack Facebook on an iPhone with a bug bounty, it would most likely be. How to access important data using a legitimate hacker hired to hack an iPhone for one reason or another. It could be checking a cheating wife’s iPhone, it could be using a white hat hacker to hire an iPhone monitor for a minor, it could be tracking an iPhone or monitoring GPS location history.

Hire a hacker for a cell phone.

Like black hat hackers, a hacker is being hired to remotely access stolen computer systems and find information that could be used for intelligence activities. Professional hacking services on the deep web that show their skills to the general public are different from secure professional services and years of experience.

These hackers have access to highly confidential government-sensitive information and company data and can use that data to create extreme controversy. The data will encapsulate everything from mobile phone numbers to military information and will enable hackers to deal with many transactions that have the power to store all this information in a secure cloud system.

It is used to search for a hacker to protect your mobile network from illegal hackers who are hired after you have nothing to cover. At this time of net hackers, it is more important than ever to find a hacker and not hire anyone to try.

Most people are too busy in their office to have stress related to protective data; You must check hacking services for businesses to hire outside consultants to track down hackers and stop hackers from accessing their systems.

Conclusion:

Most people want to hire a hacker to spy on the iPhone. As you spy on a cell phone, it will allow you to monitor everything on the phone. You can view all the pictures, track the location and in some cases you can even listen to their conversations When hiring hackers make sure to hire a real one so they can provide the best results.

Bravo!” She added, “The staff and students should be incredibly proud of their hard work. They have achieved a huge amount in this performance, and I am excited for what these very talented young performers will do next.”
Added Yearwood, “From the first down beat Sophie Heffernan took over the entire space with leadership, poise, and a joy that lit up the entire room. She led the incredible Academy Team Rock Hill ensemble with excellence as they displayed a true sense of earnest pride in storytelling. For those who may not know, Suessical is a show that centers around the Dr. Seuss book ‘Horton Hears a Who’. In terms of the technical aspects of the production, there were intricate lifts that lit up our eyes and vocals that blew us away. We enjoyed harmonies that blended beautifully and vocal choices that had us chucking through the entire presentation. To top it off, Brady Bass’s Horton and Nyla Clubreath’s JoJo had a connection that warmed our hearts. They kept us laughing at the extravagant nature of their relationship, yet reminded us of the true lesson of respect and recognition of one another.”

There was a lot of young artist participation, not only the performing but also the creating of the performance including collaboration skills, feedback, taking notes from one another, negotiation and conflict resolution.” Worcel added, “This group is small but mighty and I thoroughly enjoyed their performance. They demonstrated cleverness in staging this piece with a limited number of actors. Shout out to the student choreographer on her first endeavor.”

Surrogacy Agency in Thailand: All You Need to Know

Single mothers, surrogate mothers, gay/lesbian parents… Reproductive technologies have changed our understanding of family relationships. The World Center of Baby surrogacy in Thailand proves that. When they say that the possibilities of assisted reproductive technologies are almost limitless, this is not an exaggeration. It is possible to overcome infertility even in situations where a person is physically unable to conceive and bear a child for various reasons. For this purpose, the technology of surrogate motherhood is used.

The essence of surrogate motherhood is the egg fertilization of a genetic mother with the sperm of a man or a donor as part of IVF, with further implantation of the fetal egg into the uterine cavity of the surrogate mother. She bears the pregnancy and gives birth to a baby. Then she passes on a baby to genetic parents. A preliminary contract secures all the nuances of the procedure.

Is Surrogacy in Thailand Legal?

In many countries, the law doesn’t allow commercial surrogacy. Therefore, couples dreaming of a baby traveled to Mexico, India, or Thailand. But recently, Thailand dropped out of this list. This is because the authorities have decided to ban commercial surrogacy. The last two scandals played a decisive role in this. Once, an Australian couple abandoned a child with Down syndrome, born from a surrogate mother. In another case, a Japanese man was accused of fathering 15 babies.

As the World Center of Baby agency says, new legislation of Thailand prohibits surrogacy for foreign and same-sex couples. There is no working surrogacy agency in Thailand. The exception is traditional couples where one of the spouses has local citizenship. For them, the cost of surrogacy in Thailand is approximately $60,000. Those who intend to use surrogacy services will now prove they can’t have children. Violation of surrogacy laws is punishable by up to ten years in prison.

Can a Surrogacy Agency Help?

Even though surrogacy in Thailand is prohibited, there are many other countries where it is allowed. First, you need to find a perfect agency that can help you. For example, you can turn to the World Center of Baby. You shouldn’t search for a surrogate mother on the Internet and rely entirely on the search results. Scammers often offer their services for a low price. It is best to focus on the base of women that the agency or clinic recommends, but you need to check a specific candidate yourself. As a rule, any agency has a database and “black lists” that include all unscrupulous gestational couriers.

Of course, entrusting the search for a surrogate mother to the World Center of Baby agency is the preferable option. However, in this case, the cost for participation in the program will be higher. Still, the advantage is that professionals will handle all the paperwork. They will also carry out the transaction from beginning to end, which guarantees the family’s protection in the future.

There are many supporters of surrogate motherhood, and they believe that no one forces a woman to become the mother of someone else’s child. She makes such a decision consciously and independently. Then, future parents just “adopt” their babies.

Tips to Finding a Cost-Effective and Reliable HVAC System

An energy-efficient HVAC system is consistently good in performance, quality, trustworthiness, and worth the money you spend. With the high demand for heating and cooling systems, you have to be cautious when looking for the best.

It can be a daunting and frustrating experience if doing it for the first time. But you can still achieve your goals if you don’t give up. Here are tips to guide you in your undertakings.

Recommendation

Recommendations are always a great way to seek guidance or advice concerning a particular issue. When looking for an HVAC system, it is wise to talk to friends, family members, colleagues, or anyone you know owns such a system.

These are the best individuals to talk to because they have previously invested in such a system. They know how the best HVAC system works, key features to look at and what makes a specific brand stand out.

Through recommendations, you will know where to get your HVAC. The individuals you talk to will also give you rough estimates of the prices of the different brands in the market.

Research Extensively

Research helps know whether the HVAC system you are looking for is available. You will also know whether it is a system that will fit into your budget and be reliable for day-to-day use before making a purchase.

The internet is the best place to gather vital information about HVAC systems. Many manufacturers and businesses have websites to post and update every detail about their products on sale or offer.

Visit reputable websites and find out more about the systems they offer. Check the brands the websites offer and compare their prices.

Use customer comments to source ideas of the best HVAC system on sale and find out what they say. From these comments, you will know whether you are getting the right heating and cooling system.

Online Reviews

One straightforward way to zero in on the best HVAC systems is by analyzing customer reviews. Visit different online stores and look out for unsatisfied customers.

Unsatisfied customers are fruits of ideas and will tell exactly what they want. Look out for disappointing or pain points of purchase on a heating and cooling system a customer bought.

The HVAC system you find will tell you what customers experience are raving about such a product. It doesn’t have to be a one-star review on the product. Even HVAC systems with four or five stars will tell you something.

Reviews also solve the issue of authenticity. Some sites that offer heating, ventilation and cooling systems have genuine reviews that are not skeptical about the brands on sale.

Seek Professional Assistance

If you don’t know where to start and find a cost-effective and reliable HVAC system, try and talk to professionals in the field. These individuals have used these systems before and will provide you with the necessary information you need.

They will help you make the right decision before you make a purchase. Visit a specific website that offers these systems and live chat them. Talking to a sales assistant will instill the confidence you want to choose a particular HVAC from a top-notch brand.

Matt Poston’s playful designs make Slow Play Brewing’s craft beer cans pop!

Having grown up in Charleston, SC, Matt Poston attended the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts 1991 summer program at Furman University focusing on visual arts, and moved to Rock Hill in the Fall of 1992 to attend Winthrop University pursuing a BA in Graphic Design. While only partially completing this degree program, Matt returned to Winthrop in the Spring of 2009 to pursue a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting, graduating in December 2011. Over the next few years, he helped develop the business plan and designed the logo for the poker-themed Slow Play Brewing, which opened in Rock Hill in November 2018. There, he creates all the artwork for the brewery including hand drawing the chalkboard tap list signs, creating event posters, and designing the can labels, as well as the day-to-day bookkeeping functions.

4 Online Slots Based on Hollywood Blockbusters

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused businesses to shut down. However, Charlotte has slowly been reopening by implementing a three-phase plan. It’s only in Phases 2 and 3 that we see an opening of restaurants, fitness centers, and entertainment venues, like casinos, to operate at limited capacities. However, another spike in infections will result in the tightening of restrictions.

With the uncertainty the pandemic brings, avid gamers can look to online casinos to minimize the chances of exposure to the virus. Yahoo Finance reports that the online gaming market has boomed during the pandemic, and it’s expected to grow by 11.49% by 2026. Among the casino games, slots are perhaps the easiest to get the hang of — not to mention they feature different themes and stories that are extremely immersive, like Hollywood films. There are several great Hollywood-themed online slot machines, and below are a few that you need to try:

Terminator 2

Terminator 2 is a 1991 sci-fi film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger that became a cult favorite, gaining recognition even years after it was released — including ranking eighth in the 2008 AFI’s 10 Top 10 for sci-fi. Opening day saw a gross of $11.66 million, an impressive feat for a Wednesday opener. Created by Microgaming, the Terminator 2 video-slot has great graphics and animations. It has five reels and 243 pay-lines in standard mode, which increases to 1024 in the Free Spin bonus mode. And when you score a winning combination of symbols, a short clip from the original movie is part of the celebration animations.

Gladiator

The 2000 film Gladiator topped the box office in its opening weekend, earning $34.8 million. The film also caused what was called the “Gladiator Effect,” an increased interest in Roman and classical history in the U.S. Even translated Roman works like Marcus Aurelius’s Meditations saw a spike in sales. It also inspired games, both for consoles and casinos. Gala Casino has several slots based on the Gladiator film that allow players to embrace their inner warriors, with graphics that take you back to Ancient Rome. The official tie-in includes video sequences and the soundtrack from the film. It’s a 25-line game where you can win cash prizes for gold, silver, and bronze helmets in the Gladiator Bonus.

The Mummy

Another iconic Hollywood movie is the horror-comedy-adventure film The Mummy. It’s tightly written, being able to perfectly balance horror and goofy comedy. The combination of timing and skill also keeps the film exciting no matter how many times you watch it. It grossed $43 million on opening weekend and was also a huge success on home video. And when Playtech made the movie into a video-slot, it was very successful as well. It’s made of five reels and 25 pay-lines. The slots capture the adventure aspect of the film with the main feature, the Lost City Adventure Bonus. This is triggered randomly throughout the game where players open treasure chests to reveal prizes and unlock additional game features.

Jurassic World

Jurassic World is already the fourth installment of the wildly successful Jurassic Park franchise, but it didn’t make people any less excited about it. In fact, during its opening weekend, it became the first film to collect at least $500 million in one weekend. As slots, the Jurassic Park franchise has been a massive hit as well, and Jurassic World isn’t any different. There are five reels and 243 pay-lines and random boost on wins in the base game. You can even get up to multipliers up to 7x during Free Spins.

Slots are certainly easy and fun to try. There are many other online Hollywood-themed slots you can try, but you can begin by checking the above titles. For more local news, check our blog here on Charlotte Stories.
