North Carolina may have its fair sharing of lake monster, bigfoot, UFO, and flying dinosaur sightings, but it’s yet to witness the elusive flying fish.
That all changed this week with a video posted on social media by Ward Transport and Logistics.
According to the company, one of their Charlotte drivers was crossing Randleman Lake on I-73 (just south of High Point), when a flying fish smashed directly into the driver’s windshield.
The company uploaded the video to Twitter and said, “One of our #charlotte drivers verifies that when driving a truck, you must be prepared for ANYTHING! #drivers #trucking“

The driver quickly pulled over, cleaned his windshield, and was able to safely return to the road.
