Super Bowl Profiles: Patrick Mahomes

0

Interested in Kansas City Chief Odds? This year, Patrick Mahomes has a real chance to do something that no other quarterback in NFL history has ever had the chance to accomplish. If the Chiefs just so happen to beat the Eagles in the LVII, Mahomes will end the 56 year quarterback curse that even took down Tom Brady.

Wondering what that curse is, exactly? It’s simple enough – at the time of writing this, no other quarterback has ever been able to lead the league in passing yards while also winning the Super Bowl in the same year. So, with all this pressure riding on Mahomes shoulders, can he take his team to victory in the  Super Bowl 57 and win NFL MVP?

This is where we come in. If you’re considering placing a bet in the Super Bowl LVII, it only makes sense that you should want to know about the way Mahomes has been playing this season. Let’s go ahead and take a closer look at Mahomes statistics and more below. Just keep on scrolling!

Mahomes Lead the Chiefs to Victory in the AFC Championship Game

If you’re a fan of Mahomes (or just a big NFL fan in general) we’re sure that you’ll already be familiar with his show-stopping performance in the AFC Championship Game that very nearly saw the Kansas City Chiefs crash out to the Bengals.

Luckily, Mahomes was able to power through with his untimely ankle injury to help lead the Chiefs to the finish line with a stunning win of 23-20 at the Arrowhead Stadium just recently. Sure, even though Mahomes started the game without a win in three meetings with Bengals Joe Burrow, this didn’t deter Mahomes.

Just three seconds to the end of the game, Mahomes made sure that his team was going to take the win as he helped his teammate Harrison Butker get the final field goal to take the win and secure his team’s spot in the 2023 NFL Super Bowl! Pushing through his injury, Mahomes demonstrated incredible adversity to pain to ensure the win.

In particular, during the very final few seconds of the tense game – Mahomes visibly became fired up and powered through with a speedy run in the closing moments to take a penalty from Joseph Ossai which then allowed Butker to fire down the field and take the lead in, quite literally, the last 3 seconds.

Thanks to this, it means that the Kansas City Chiefs have made the Super Bowl across three occasions in the past four years. As a side note, it’s worth noting that Mahomes has been a starter for the NFL for just five years (at the time of writing this) ever since 2018, which just so happens to be the year he took MVP.

Enjoying a Stellar Campaign in the Run-up to the NFL 2023 Super Bowl

Besides his thrilling performance at the AFC Championship Game, Mahomes has also enjoyed an incredible campaign in the run-up to the Super Bowl elsewhere, too. Consistent and on-form, Mahomes threw for just over 5,250 yards and achieved 41 touchdowns all while compiling a rating of an impressive 105.2

Going back to that ankle injury he’s been working through this season, So much so, coach Andy Reid has even publicly offered praise due to his ability to overcome adversity and play through pain after he sustained the injury while playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.

Does Mahomes Have Potential to be Named MVP for the 2023 NFL Season?

Mahomes has done it before and he can certainly do it again. At least, that’s what his coach, Andy Reid, thinks. After Mahomes led his team to victory over the Bengal to secure the team’s fourth spot in the Super Bowl championship in his 5 year career with the Chief’s so far, Reid stated, “I’ll say it again, Mahomes Should be named MVP for the season”, before following up with “He proved it again on Sunday.”

In previous seasons, Mahomes and Reid have reached Super Bowl LIVE where they were unfortunately defeated by the San Francisco 49ers just 31-20, before the dynamic duo also saw disappointment just a year later to the Buccaneers, which also just so happened to be the year that Tom Brady took home his seventh ring.

Hoping to change the tune this season, the Chiefs, Mahome and Reid are certainly looking to add another title to their belts when they play in the Super Bowl this coming week. Along with that, there’s also talks of Mahomes being in the running to take the title of MVP of the season, as we have already mentioned above.

 Final Thoughts

There we have it, you’ve made it to the end. Now that you’ve taken the time to read through this guide, we hope that you have a much better idea of how Mahomes is playing to ensure you’re able to make the most informed betting decision. Thank you for reading! We hope that you enjoy the Super Bowl. and as always, please remember to bet responsibly.

How to leave a lasting impression on someone and be unforgettable

0

Not everyone gets the chance to meet you more than once. In fact, not everyone will want to meet you a second time. The first instance isn’t your fault, but the second instance says a lot about the impression you left behind.

Keeping up with communication has become easier with the wide range of social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook, and has been strengthened by more modern platforms like Livebeam. The effect of these platforms tells on the impression you left behind. People who enjoyed the first interaction will want to connect further on those platforms.

Livebeam has been able to create an avenue for genuine conversations and friendships, and it gets stronger each year. However, more on that a little later.

Let’s get into 5 actionable ways to leave an unforgettable impression on someone after your very first interaction!

1. Listen Attentively

Many people fail to understand the number one thing that people want when discussing with them. We seem to always think that what is required of us the most is a reply – that’s false.

The first and most important thing a person wants in a conversation is to be listened to.

Once you can master the intricacies of active listening, you are closer to becoming someone’s favorite conversationalist. Active listening involves attentive listening coupled with suitable replies.

It takes these simple intentional steps to achieve active listening:

  • Listening to understand rather than respond
  • Listening without prejudice or prior expectations
  • Summarizing and reflecting back on what was said
  • Asking questions in and around the subject matter to keep the conversation going.

2. Give Genuine Compliments

Compliments are some of the best things that people love to hear. People love to be told how their dress looks nice, their voice sounds amazing, or how fun it is to be in their company. There’s always room for compliments, it doesn’t matter if it’s a physical conversation or a chat on Livebeam.

A compliment goes a long way in creating emotions that a person will remember for a long time.

Now, there’s a caution here. As much as compliments generate great responses and stick to people’s memories, they have to be genuine. This means you should find characteristics that you actually find to be unique and worthy of a compliment. These are things that stand out or are obvious that the person was intentional about.

3. Find Common Interests

Now ask yourself, what can you talk about that a person will not forget? Obviously,  it has to be something the person cares about. However, you also must have knowledge of the topic. The best way to solve both issues is to find a common ground; a topic or topics that you both enjoy, know, or find interesting.

People connect more with people who talk to them about what they have an interest in.

Here beckons the question, how do you know what they have an interest in? It’s pretty simple – by asking. By simply asking what are a person’s favorite sports, you get a series of answers that could be topic choices – and you can go on from there.

Online, it’s an easier process. You can easily see people’s likes from their descriptions, statuses, and past posts. You could find some of them during an activity. For example, on Livebeam, you can find people while watching similar streams and start a conversation from there.

4. Tell a Story

Only a few things are as fascinating in a conversation as stories. Stories keep attention, are interesting, and can bring people together. It’s a really strong way of keeping someone interested in an era that possesses a declining attention span.

Storytelling has the power to keep people’s attention longer than a normal conversation.

The type of story you tell, how you tell it, and when you tell it should also be put into consideration. Make sure your stories are relatable and relevant to the subject matter. A good story is only as interesting as the time it is told.

5. Follow up on Conversations

How do you find out if you made a lasting impression or if you didn’t do enough? You have to follow up. Checking in on the person a while after to see their demeanor and emotion towards you helps to clarify and also make corrections.

You don’t have to make a lasting impression on your very first try, but you should give yourself the opportunity to keep trying till you achieve this. Livebeam has been able to sustain so many relationships by keeping people in touch and creating a structure that makes it last.

UNC Charlotte Ranks 4th In The Nation for Online Bachelor’s Degrees

UNC Charlotte has strengthened its reputation as one of the nation’s top providers of online education, rising to No. 4 (tie) on U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 Best Online Bachelor’s Degrees ranking, which was released Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Best Online Bachelor's.jpgThis is the second consecutive year that UNC Charlotte has ranked in the top 10 nationally for its online bachelor’s degree programs, and the University has risen 30 spots over the past three years as its online portfolio supporting working professionals has grown. Charlotte is ranked first in North Carolina, the only university in the state to rank in the top 15.

U.S. News’ metrics for the online undergraduate rankings — which include student engagement, support given to students, and instructor training and credentials — were developed to identify degree completion programs for students who already have some college credit.

Online graduate programs rankings
U.S. News also recognized three UNC Charlotte master’s disciplines in its Best Online Master’s Degree rankings, which also were released on Jan. 24:

  • Best Online Master’s in Education: No. 23 (tie)
  • Best Online Master’s in Nursing: No. 37 (tie)
  • Best Online Master’s in Engineering: No. 62

The Cato College of Education also was recognized for its master’s specialty in curriculum and instruction, which ranked No. 17 (tie) based on a survey of peer institutions across the country.

Rising in rankings
“We are pleased to be recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a national leader in the development of high-quality, affordable online programs for working professionals,” said Charlotte Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber. “This further illustrates the work our award-winning faculty and staff have done to streamline and develop online programs since we launched the School of Professional Studies in 2021.”

Charlotte Online, through the School of Professional Studies, provides access to more than 50 online degree programs. All programs are geared toward working adults.

The Belk College of Business began offering a fully online MBA program in August, and two new online degree programs debuted this month, a Master of Science in Mathematics, Math Education concentration and a bachelor’s in professional studies.

U.S. News evaluated more than 1,800 online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for the rankings, the most ever.

According to the publication, while the methodologies are different for each discipline, they all incorporate metrics specific to online learning. Only degree-granting programs that are offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions are eligible.

This is the latest in a growing number of national rankings for UNC Charlotte.

In November, the University ranked No. 18 in the nation on Newsweek’s student-focused “America’s Top Online Colleges for 2023.” Charlotte was awarded five stars out of five in the report, the highest recognition. Charlotte rose eight spots overall in the 2022-23 U.S. News & World Report Best College rankings for undergraduate colleges and universities.

Chester Golf Club opened in 1971, but the “hidden gem” will turn heads after its fresh polish. In the fall of 2022, Rohan Allwood earned the promotion to Head Golf Professional from his previous role as First Assistant at Chester Golf Club. Chester Golf Club is located in rural Chester County, six miles west of I-77 off of exit 62, only minutes from Charlotte or Columbia. The course, which opened in 1971, was designed by Russell Breeden and is known to many as a hidden gem. The club offers memberships but also offers public tee times. Chester Golf Club is owned and operated by Leroy Springs & Company Inc., a 501(c)3 organization that receives no government funding for its ongoing operations and programs. The golf club falls under the Springs Golf portfolio of local courses.
