5 Things You Have to Know Before Trying Testosterone Boosters

0

Testosterone boosters aren’t a new product; they have actually been widely used for quite some time and they’re readily available. Their claim to fame is that they can help people to achieve their fitness goals faster and easier when used correctly. But are they all they’re cracked up to be? Here’s a look at five things you should know before you go ahead and try a testosterone booster.

What Kind of Results Can They Offer?

The big question is what can you expect from a testosterone booster in terms of results? How will it help you? People often turn to testosterone boosters to improve their muscle mass and tone up, but there can be other benefits too. Depending on the product, they can also help to give people an energy boost, increase strength and even improve bone density. Some people claim they get bigger, faster and stronger – which may be your exact goals.

Keep in mind that, just like with any supplement, these are potential benefits. In other words, there is no guarantee you will realize all the benefits, let alone one of them. Results are individual and they will also be dependent on the other choices you’re making with your lifestyle.

Not All Testosterone Boosters are Equal

If you’re under the impression that all testosterone boosters are the same, therefore it doesn’t matter which product you choose, you couldn’t be further from the truth. It comes down to the specific ingredients used, the quality of ingredients, the number of active ingredients and even the manufacturing/production process. This is why you want to do extensive research in advance.

They Come in Different Forms

Did you also know that testosterone boosters come in different forms? You can get them in pill, liquid or powder form. This allows you to choose the delivery method that is ideal for your lifestyle and habits. Remember, you need to take the daily recommended dosage to get the best results.

What are the Possible Risks and Side Effects?

This is something you need to consider any time you take a supplement; knowing the possible risks and side effects allows you to properly weigh up your options and make an informed decision. The question to ask is whether the positives outweigh the potential risks and side effects of the product.

In the case of testosterone, there are a few potential side effects people talk about, with one common one being hair loss. For anyone concerned about hair loss, testosterone supplements may be something you have been nervous to take. This is because some people think it can contribute to male hair loss. But is it true? This isn’t exactly a clear-cut answer.

It comes down to the type of testosterone. Choosing a free testosterone booster means you can increase the amount of hair — not enough to be a cure to baldness — but you shouldn’t have to worry about the supplement triggering hair loss. If it contains ingredients such as magnesium, Fenugreek, Maca and zinc, then they can all be beneficial to your hairline. The best solution is to do your research, ensure you know all the ingredients in the product and ask questions.

Are You the Right Fit?

The final thing to consider is if you’re the right fit for a testosterone booster. Typically, the ideal candidate is someone over the age of 30 who is in good health and who leads a relatively active lifestyle. That’s not to say others won’t see results; it just means if you fit this criterion, you are probably more likely to see them.

By educating yourself on the pros and cons of testosterone boosters, being realistic about your goals, and determining if you’re the ideal candidate, you’ll be able to make an informed choice when it comes to trying them.

North Carolinians Believe They Will Live Longer Than Most Americans

A new study has found that the average North Carolinian believes they will live until the age of 79 – a full year above the state average* (78), and 1 year above the national life expectancy. Turns out, people in The Tar Heel State are among the most optimistic in America about their longevity.

When you delve a bit deeper, there are actually several reasons that North Carolinians may be justified in being confident of surpassing their state life expectancy: North Carolina has a higher-than-average number of hospitals and healthcare facilities, which provide residents with access to quality medical care. Additionally, the state has implemented programs aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, such as encouraging physical activity and healthy eating, which has helped to reduce the prevalence of chronic diseases like obesity and heart disease. These factors, combined with North Carolina’s relatively low poverty rate and high median household income, have contributed to the state’s higher-than-average life expectancy.

Nationally, however, Americans predict they will live for 2 years longer than the average life expectancy of 78, at 80 years old.

Broken down by state, the 2023 Hello Pharmacist report found that Rhode Islanders and Nevadans were equally the most optimistic about their longevity, saying they think they will live for 6 years above the state average (79.4 in Rhode Island, and 78.1 in Nevada), thus living to a ripe old age of 85 and 84. And New Mexicans were the least optimistic.

Online gambling has become increasingly popular in the UK in recent years, with many people choosing to gamble from their computers or mobile devices. Online casinos and sports betting sites are regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, which ensures that they operate fairly and transparently.

The UK’s vibrant pub culture also offers a unique social experience that can’t be found elsewhere. However, it is important to note that the UK is also home to a large number of casinos, which may not be suitable for everyone. All cycling and walking participants must register (individually or with a team) online at 24foundation.org. The following are the registration and fundraising requirements:

Rents in Charlotte up 0.3% Over Past Month – April Rental Report

0
Nationwide rents increased 0.5% in March, and the latest data suggest that the rental market is finally returning to pre-pandemic conditions. Price growth this month is similar to that of March 2018 and March 2019, and apartment occupancy is also normalizing. If the typical seasonal patterns hold, prices should continue to rise for the next several months; but a healthier supply-and-demand balance should prevent the runaway rent inflation that we saw during 2021 and 2022.
For the latest data, see our April Rent Report. Some highlights include:
  • Rents in Charlotte increased 0.3% month-over-month in March, compared to a 0.5% increase nationally.
  • Year-over-year rent growth in Charlotte currently stands at 4%, compared to 0.9% at this time last year. Rents in Charlotte are up by 23.6% since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
  • Median rents in Charlotte currently stand at $1315 for a 1-bedroom apartment and $1441 for a two-bedroom.

North Carolina Streamlines COVID-19 Data as Pandemic Transitions to Routine Public Health Concern

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) has announced updates to its COVID-19 dashboard and state-funded testing sites, as the federal public health emergency is set to conclude on May 11, 2023. As COVID-19 becomes a routine aspect of public health and healthcare activities, NCDHHS will incorporate COVID-19 data with other respiratory illness data.

“While we continue to see illness and deaths from COVID-19, it is no longer the threat it once was thanks to testing, vaccines and treatment,” said NCDHHS Director Susan Kansagra in a press release. “As we evolve our response to the more routine nature of COVID-19 going forward, these indicators will help us monitor our health care capacity from respiratory illness including COVID-19 and adjust our response if needed.”

The North Carolina Respiratory Illness Summary Dashboard will now feature this combined information, including three main graphs along with other detailed data:

  1. COVID-like illness, influenza-like illness, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)-like illness, and other respiratory illness visits to emergency departments.
  2. New COVID-19 and influenza hospital admissions.
  3. Wastewater surveillance.

As COVID-19 vaccination data is not changing as rapidly, updates will now be provided monthly, with the data set to retire on May 31. The CDC will continue to offer vaccination data after this date. COVID-19 case and death data, as well as variant proportions, will still be accessible through links from the Respiratory Illness Dashboard. Reports to be retired this month include COVID-19 patients presumed to be recovered, hospitalizations and deaths by vaccination status, and COVID-19 outbreaks in congregate living settings. CDC COVID-19 community levels can be found on the CDC’s COVID Data Tracker site.

NC House Votes To Override Cooper’s Veto of Easy Access Gun Bill

Today, the NC House voted to override Governor Cooper’s first veto of the session concerning legislation aimed at easing gun restrictions in our state. The House voted 71-45 to override the veto of Senate Bill 41, which would remove all handgun purchase permit laws, and allow for increased access of gun owners on church and school grounds. Governor Cooper vetoed the bill on Friday after it was ratified by the House and Senate.

If enacted, the bill would eliminate the current requirement for handgun owners to apply for permits through county sheriff’s offices, which mandates criminal background checks and allows sheriff’s offices to determine whether an applicant should be permitted to own a handgun.

According to Governor Cooper’s office, the bill would remove the authority of sheriffs to deny a permit if they believe an applicant exhibits signs of mental illness, is aware of unrecorded domestic abuse incidents in a national database, or demonstrates other indicators that the applicant could pose a threat to themselves or others.

What do you think about the new bill?

Do you think it would make our state safer?
