5 Benefits of Leasing IP Addresses for IP Holders

0

Organizations trying to grow digitally face challenges due to the shortage of IPv4 addresses. Although IPv6 is becoming more common, consumers still demand IPv4 resources, causing prices to rise. Leasing IP addresses allows enterprises to access key assets and address IP address shortages.

Leases provide address holders with a unique opportunity to monetize unused resources and generate income, with the potential for better rates in the future. This article will explain some benefits of leasing IP addresses for IP holders.

Hijacking Protection

When leasing your IPs, a major concern is the risk of hijacking, which could harm your IP reputation as a holder. Hijacking takes place when malicious individuals redirect and misuse your IP traffic, resulting in blacklisting and an overall loss of trust in your IP addresses.

The IP holder must maintain effective hijack protection against this risk. The solution involves proactive monitoring and the deployment of global mitigation technology.

RPKI Management

RPKI is crucial in improving routing security, avoiding hijacking, and making sure IP addresses receive routing priority. However, managing RPKI can be complicated and time-consuming if done individually.

As part of the leasing agreement, you might want to consider a mechanism to handle RPKI registration and monitoring on your behalf. As a result, you can enjoy the benefits of RPKI without the administrative responsibilities of leasing your IP addresses.

Dedicated Management of Accounts

IP Leasing operations require continuous administration and communication to run smoothly. Hiring a dedicated account manager provides direct support across all aspects of your leasing program.

This approach benefits you by continuously receiving lease revenues and giving you access to guidance and support as needed. After getting a leased IP address, you may also check your IP addresses at What Is My IP to ensure they align with your leasing program’s ongoing requirements.

Flexible Commitments

When leasing an IPv4 address, customers can customize the lease duration and terms to meet their specific business needs. This can benefit organizations with varied or uncertain IPv4 address requirements.

Leasing IPv4 addresses is more flexible than purchasing them. Businesses can lease IPv4 address blocks to pay for them and for the required time. The flexibility to change lease term length and pricing also gives organizations more authority and predictability over their IPv4 address costs.

Instant IPv4 Address Availability

With IPv4 addresses readily available at all times, organizations can prevent delays and errors in their operations. Additionally, leasing IP addresses provides real-time visibility into all address statuses, including ownership, terms, expiration dates, and pricing.

5 Benefits of Building a Mobile App with Offline Functionality

0

These days, you would find that most apps only work when the internet is available. When the internet connection is not available, these apps don’t tend to function. Although internet availability has increased quite much in these past few years, it still makes sense for developers to build their apps with offline functionality so that users who don’t have access to the internet all the time can still use and enjoy the features of the app.

Developers who are looking to build and grow a user base must consider building an app with offline functionality. Let us discuss a few benefits of building a mobile app with offline functionality.

1. Increases User Base

If your mobile app has offline functionality available that allows users to access the features of the app even when the internet connection is not available, then it will be a plus point for you in increasing your user base. In areas of poor connectivity, it is going to be your app that will be considered and used more by users since it has offline functionality. While developing a mobile app, considering users who don’t have access to the internet all the time can help you make them your permanent users.

Simply by adding offline functionality to your mobile app like Beautyplus for Android, you can increase the user acquisition and retention rates because users who don’t have access to the internet 24/7 or have limited connectivity would definitely love using an app that provides them access to all the essential features of the app without internet access.

2. Provides a Competitive Edge

The mobile app market is huge and quite competitive. In every category, you would find at least one popular app that gives competition to other apps. Consider apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, or Uber, and how these apps are giving a tough time to other apps. Users choose an app over others based on several factors including its features, usability, design, and navigation. Among the several factors that can dictate user preference for a specific app, offline functionality is one of them.

Simply providing users with the ability to access the features of the app and use the app without the internet gives your app a competitive edge. In areas with connectivity, there are high chances that users are going to prefer your app over others and this can give your app a huge edge over the competition.

3. Increases User Loyalty

If users know that they can count on a particular app in areas with poor or no connectivity, they are more likely to become its permanent users and this can allow you to gain the loyalty of users. Simply providing users with the ability to access the features of the app without the internet can make the users more loyal to a particular app. You can add the offline functionality to the app and link to your APK so that you are able to build a loyal customer base.

4. Quick App Loading Time

Another benefit of an offline mobile app is that it has a quick loading time compared to an online mobile app. An app with offline functionality has the data stored locally, which allows for quick loading times even with poor or no internet connection. Quick loading time is preferred by most users these days and any app that can load quickly can certainly attract a huge number of users.

5. User Data Remains Secure

User data is very important these days and most users are concerned about the security of their data and how apps handle their data. An app with offline functionality stores all of the data locally instead of storing it on the cloud and servers. This minimizes the risk of data being breached from the servers and provides users with peace of mind that their data is stored locally on the device in a secure form.

How to Keep Track of Time When Working Remotely?

0

The popularity of online and remote working has increased dramatically in the past few years. Most professionals and workers these days prefer to work online because online work provides a lot of flexibility and enables them to maintain a balance between work and life. However, while working remotely, people fail to manage their productivity and track their time, which is becoming a big challenge in this setting. Continue reading, as we look at several ways to stay organized and keep track of time while working remotely.

Set Clear Goals and Priorities

When you are working remotely, it is important that you set clear goals and priorities before you start your workday. Setting clear goals and priorities can involve something like making a to-do list that highlights all the important tasks that you need to get done throughout the day. To further make things easier for you and improve your focus, you can assign tasks a deadline, a priority level, and an estimated timeframe to complete a task.

All of this will help you stay focused and identify the most important and urgent tasks so you can get them done instead of wasting time on irrelevant activities. While working online, it is quite easy to get distracted and waste time, but a to-do list with time assigned to each task can make things easier for you to stay focused.

Use Time Tracking Apps

For remote workers, a time tracker app can help them keep track of their time and measure productivity. There are various time-tracking apps available that can record how much time you spend on a particular app or software. This can help you monitor your work hours, breaks, and overtime, see how much work you are doing in those hours, and how much your daily hours are from this site. You can also analyze your daily reports and adjust your workflow accordingly for maximum productivity.

Plus, these time-tracking apps can be seamlessly integrated across other devices, allowing you to track your time in the best way possible.

Establish Time Blocks

Establishing time blocks when working online can also help you keep track of your time. You can do this by allocating chunks of time to perform specific tasks or categories of work. This can not only allow you to keep track of how much time you are allocating to each task but also how much you are achieving in that time.

For instance, you can allocate the first half hour of your day for managing emails followed by the next two hours working on important projects and then taking a break for half an hour. This approach can not only allow you to track your time but also analyze how well you are performing in each time block.

Eliminate Distractions

A problem commonly faced by remote and online workers is that they get distracted quite easily. Distractions and interruptions can be from anywhere including your environment, surroundings, smartphone, and family members. To track your time while working remotely and be a productive worker, it is important to track your distractions and try to eliminate them completely.

While you are working, you should consider setting your phone aside or turning on the DND (Do Not Disturb) Mode on your phone to avoid getting distracted by notifications. Use a good pair of noise-canceling headphones that can reduce the noise from your surroundings and help you stay focused.

Review Your Time Logs and Reports

Lastly, reviewing your time logs and reports is very important when it comes to tracking your time as a remote worker to get detailed insights into how you spent your time throughout the week or month and how well you performed during that duration. Again, a time tracker app can be quite helpful here, as it can provide you with accurate data that you can use to analyze your productivity, efficiency, and quality.

You can also compare the time from the time tracker app with your estimated time and see how well you performed in terms of time management, getting your tasks done on time, being productive, and offering Maghrib prayers on time. Doing so will allow you to make adjustments and improvements for the future.

How to Troubleshoot In-Flight WiFi Connection?

0

For air travelers, staying connected while flying in airplanes has become quite common, thanks to the in-flight WiFi technology. It is a useful advancement that has made it possible to stay connected to the internet even while flying thousands of feet above the ground. However, just like any other piece of technology, in-flight WiFi technology can face some issues. So whether you are using in-flight WiFi for the first time or a frequent traveler, here are some tips to troubleshoot in-flight WiFi connection to ensure a smooth internet experience while flying in the air.

Disable VPN Before Joining

Using the VPN has become a staple for many people, especially travelers because of the various benefits of VPN, as it protects the network and provides an additional layer of security. However, when you are using an in-flight WiFi network, chances are that your VPN connection can interfere with the in-flight network and make it difficult to establish a connection.

If you are finding yourself in a situation where you are not able to establish a connection even with WiFi availability, consider disabling VPN for a while. By disabling a VPN, you are eliminating the complexities in the connection process and making it easier for your device to connect to the network. This can increase the chances of establishing a successful connection with the network.

Connect at the Right Altitude

You might not be aware of this, but altitude plays an important role in in-flight WiFi connectivity. Most airlines equip their airplanes with technology that enables WiFi services after reaching a certain altitude, typically around 11,000 ft above the ground. This delay is intentional and is done so that the aircraft can climb to a safe altitude before the WiFi services are enabled.

If you are attempting to connect to the in-flight WiFi network at a lower altitude, be patient and wait until the aircraft reaches the designated altitude. You can inquire about the designated altitude from the crew members but to avoid unnecessary frustration, it is best that you wait and connect once the airline crosses the intended altitude level.

Enable Airplane Mode Before Joining

The concept of enabling airplane mode before connectivity to the in-flight WiFi network might not make much sense to you but it can turn out to be pretty effective in improving the in-flight WiFi connectivity. When you enable the airplane mode on your device, all the wireless functions are disabled including WiFi, cellular, and Bluetooth.

When you want to join the in-flight WiFi network, enable the airplane so that all the wireless functions are disabled and manually re-enable the WiFi connection only. This can prevent other wireless functions from interfering with the aircraft’s WiFi signals and enable your chances of a more reliable connection. Since you are paying $8 per Wi-Fi session or even more for in-flight WiFi, it is worth giving it a try.

Reboot Your Device

Sometimes, the problem may be with your device due to which you cannot connect to the network or establish a reliable connection. If you are encountering connectivity issues, a simple device reboot is worth trying. It won’t take much of your time and will resolve most of the connectivity issues.

Forget and Reconnect to the Network

Forgetting and reconnecting to the WiFi network can also solve the issue in some instances. If you are having difficulties connecting to a network that you had joined before, consider forgetting the network from the WiFi settings of your device and reconnecting to the network from the very start. This can resolve connection issues in most instances and allow you to use the WiFi network without any problem.

Contact the Flight Crew

If you have tried all the troubleshooting options and are still having trouble connecting to the in-flight WiFi network, contact the flight crew and ask them for assistance. Just ensure that you have an active in-flight WiFi subscription before you contact the flight crew so that they can provide you with guidance and assistance regarding your problem.

This can promote a safe and positive gaming environment for everyone.

North Carolina’s First Fully Legal Marijuana Dispensary Set To Open on 4/20

North Carolina’s first legal marijuana dispensary, operated by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians’ Qualla Enterprises, LLC, is set to open on April 20th in Cherokee, at the site of the former Cherokee Tribal Bingo.

Named The Great Smoky Cannabis Company, the opening signifies a major milestone given the state’s current stance on marijuana as an illegal substance, which has previously hindered the tribe’s ability to sell their $30 million cannabis inventory or transport it within the state, according to Smokey Mountain News.

The new dispensary has already received over 1,400 job applications, with the facility potentially hiring up to 350 workers when fully running.

The Most In-Demand Home Features in North Carolina This Spring

New data has revealed the most in-demand home and interior decor features prospective homebuyers in North Carolina are searching for most this time of year.

The findings come from real estate experts Agent Advice and follow an analysis of national and state-specific Google searches for popular home features and design elements made throughout March, April, and May each year.

The data found that the most sought-after feature in North Carolina was ceiling fans, which were searched for an average of 8,817 times each month in the run-up to spring.

This makes sense, given they’re essential for temperature regulation, and spring is one of the most changeable seasons weatherwise in the state. They also work to improve energy efficiency, as they consume less energy than air conditioning units.

Following in second is a kitchen island, with 6,775 monthly searches made throughout spring. This is likely due to its practical benefits like more storage space, extra room for food preparation, and the appeal to fans of an open-plan kitchen.

The third most coveted home feature is quartz countertops, which are searched for 5,250 times a month between March and May each year.

These are renowned for their durability, which means they’re less likely to scratch, crack, or get chipped.

Coming in fourth as the feature that homebuyers in North Carolina would be most swayed by is solar panels, which is searched for an average of 5,000 times monthly.

Solar panels also work to reduce energy bills and increase home value, with Zillow reporting homes with solar panels sell for around 4.1% more than those without.

Rounding out the top five most searched-for home features in the state is vinyl flooring, which are searched for 4,733 times per month. Made from synthetic materials like fiberglass or PVC, they’re easy to maintain, water-resistant, and highly customizable in various patterns and colors.

The ten most searched-for home and decor features in North Carolina

Feature/Decor Average Monthly Google Searches (March-May)
1 Ceiling Fans 8,817
2 Kitchen Island 6,775
3 Quartz Countertops 5,250
4 Solar Panels 5,000
5 Vinyl Flooring 4,733
6 Stackable Washer & Dryer 4,483
7 Granite Countertops 4,433
8 Hardwood Flooring 4,267
9 Framed TV 3,483
10 Farmhouse Sink 2,933

Homebuyers in the state are more bothered about home features like countertops, flooring, and white goods than design elements, the data shows.

Happily, for hopeful sellers, it’s generally advised to advertise your home using a neutral color scheme so that your design choices don’t influence buyers.
