South Carolina just recorded its highest number of new Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.
According to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), the state confirmed a total of 4,377 new coronavirus infections on December 25th.
The state also reported that a total of 1,867 people are currently receiving hospital care due to COVID-19.
