Cam Newton is officially back!
The stylish QB was just signed to a 1-year contract that’s worth up to $10 million, with $4.5 million guaranteed and a $1.5 million bonus based on the next eight games (a decent step up from the $500k he was guaranteed by New England in 2020).

With former starter Sam Darnold currently out of play for at least the next 4 weeks with a bad shoulder injury, the Panthers were faced with the decision to either start P.J. Walker, newly signed Matt Barkley, or bring back the former number 1 overall pick who took us to Super Bowl 50.
