Panthers Beat Saints in Their Last Game of The Season

481

The Panthers just clenched their final game of the season.

Yesterday afternoon at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome, Carolina won a narrow 10-7 victory in a game neither team seamed overly excited about winning.

Darnold had a difficult day passing, finishing the game 5-of-15 for 43 yards and two interceptions, one of his poorest performances in his six starts this season. However, his lone 21-yard pass to Terrace Marshall Jr. enabled Eddy Piñeiro to kick a 42-yard field goal with 19 seconds left, giving the Panthers the victory.

The win moved us to 6-6 under interim head coach Steve Wilks, who had his team peaking at one point with four out of six wins.

Although our playoff hopes were thwarted last week with a loss to the Buccs, we can start thinking about a strong next season with a gelling young team and deep stack of draft pick cards.

What do you think about the Panthers chances next year?

Do you think we should make Wilks our permanent head coach?
