Renters favorited three times more Charlotte apartments compared to last May, which translates into a staggering 206% increase.

Statewide, renters found Charlotte more appealing than Greensboro, Cary or Winston-Salem, which came in 47th, 52th and 62th, respectively.

Kansas City, MO, is the nation’s most desired city by renters in May, as apartment hunters added four times more listings to their favorites lists compared to this time last year. KCMO is followed by Detroit and Albuquerque, NM, according to RentCafe.com’s listings activity data.
