A tragic hunting accident just took the lives of a father and his young daughter in South Carolina on the last day of hunting season.
According to WSCS News, 30-year-old Kim Drawdy and 9-year-old Lauren Drawdy were found dead in the woods after hunting with 2 other individuals.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources released a statement last night saying that 2 fatalities were being investigated in Colleton County, and that the incident occurred at about 2:30 pm yesterday afternoon off of Barracada Road.
SCDNR is investigating a hunting incident that resulted in two fatalities in Colleton County. The incident took place at approximately 2:30 Wednesday afternoon off Barracada Road.

The two were found dead about a half-mile off the road on a section of rural farm and forest land about 150 miles south of Charlotte;
No additional information about the exact cause or circumstances of death have yet been released. An autopsy will be performed on the 2 bodies on Sunday.
