Winter is officially here!
Today, Sugar Mountain opened for business, becoming the first ski resort in North Carolina to open their 2020-21 ski season and marking the beginning of our southern winter.
The mountain has been pumping out artificial snow for the past several days and this morning at 9am, they turned on their chair lift for guests.
Kenny from Charlotte had got the honor of being the first to ride the lift.

They are now open every day from 8:00am – 5:00pm. So if you really want to have some good time outing, get your Gamma ski jacket and enjoy various winter activities at Sugar Mountain.
