Discovery Channel’s legendary Shark Week is about to fly their massive Shark Week blimps over select cities in promotion of this year’s series.
There will be 2 blimps this year, one flying over select East Coast cities, and a second one flying over select West Coast cities. The East Coast blimp will be taking off on July 1st from Nashville, then will fly over Charlotte and Ocean City, MD on its way up to New York City.
Traveling approximately 250 miles per day, the East Coast blimp measures 128-feet long x 44ft high.
