The Carolina Panthers just suffered their first shutout loss in over 20 years yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon in Florida, the Panthers took a 26-0 beating against the Jacksonville Jaguars an abysmal 26-0 defeat against the Jacksonville Jaguars, marking their first shutout loss since the 7th week of 2002.

The Panthers, now with a record of 2-14, struggled offensively against the Jaguars’ strong defense and backup quarterback C.J. Beathard. The Jaguars, now 9-7, were without their regular quarterback Trevor Lawrence due to injury.
The Panthers‘ offense was ineffective, managing only 124 total yards and a mere 57 on the ground, setting a new season low. Rookie quarterback Bryce Young was sacked six times and completed 19 of 32 passes for 112 yards with one interception. This performance starkly contrasts with his recent success in games against the Packers and Falcons.
Adding to the Panthers’ woes, kicker Eddy Piñeiro was sidelined due to hamstring tightness, and linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill had to handle the opening kickoff. The team’s frustration culminated in the fourth quarter when defensive tackle Derrick Brown was ejected following an altercation with Jaguars’ Cam Robinson.
