In a bold move to reshape Downtown Belmont, a group of visionary property owners on Main Street’s west side, just north of the railroad tracks, enlisted Historical Concepts to craft a forward-thinking concept plan to redevelop the city. The new initiative is aimed at revitalizing the area while honoring Belmont’s rich history as a textile and railroad powerhouse.
City officials are now working with the property owners to refine and consider the proposed plan, set to begin in January 2024. The city is now asking for community involvement, inviting residents to share their vision for Downtown Belmont’s future.
