The Carolina Panthers clinched their first victory of the season with a nail-biting 15-13 win against the Houston Texans.

Bryce Young had arguably his best game of the season, completing 22-of-31 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown. He ended with his best passer rating so far (103.6) and his longest completion so far with the Panthers (a 40-yard bullet to Jonathan Mingo). He threw 8 balls to Adam Thielen, bringing his season total to 57, ranking fifth in the NFL.

Eddy Piñeiro’s 23-yard field goal as the clock ran out sealed the win, making up for his earlier missed extra point.

Our defense also had a strong performance, with Frankie Luvu raking up 12 tackles and Xavier Woods making eight tackles and recovered a fumble (our first fumble recovery of the season).

With a 1-6 record, the Panthers are set to face the Colts on Nov 5th at 4:05pm.
