Panthers Dominate The Football Team To Clinch Their 5th Win of The Season


Yesterday evening the Panthers clinched their 5th win of the season against The Football Team on the road in Washington.

Our defense took center stage yesterday, forcing 6 turnovers from The Football Team – 4 in the first half alone.

Panther’s QB Dwayne Haskins threw for only 14-of-28 for a total of 154 yards, with 2 interceptions and 1 fumble. He was replaced in the 4th quarter by Taylor Heinicke.

WR Curtis Samuel was the Panthers’ leading rusher yesterday, thanks to his epic 45-yard play, and Mike Davis was able to add on 28 more yards in his 14 carries. Davis now has 642 rushing yards for the season and when added to his 59 receptions for 373 passing yards, he has now topped the epic 1,000 yards-from-scrimmage season milestone.

The Panthers will be hosting the New Orleans Saints in their last game of the season at the Bank of America Stadium this coming Sunday afternoon starting at 4:25 pm.
