New Brewery Is Opening In The Charlotte Douglas Airport

old-meck-breweryCharlotte’s oldest brewery has just announced plans to open their newest location in the middle of the Charlotte Douglas Airport.

The Queen City’s first airport brewery will feature a 15-seat bar, several cocktail tables, and 6 taps that will rotate through OMB’s newest and most popular brews.

They plan on opening later this year in the renovated Concourse E, along with several other restaurants, including a new Shake Shack and Potbelly. The new restaurants are part of a massive $700 million overhaul to Charlotte Douglas, transforming it into ‘an airport fit for a queen’.

Along with OMB’s new Cornelius location, this will be the third location for our cities first and now largest home-grown brewery.
