Gov Cooper Offering $25,000 Reward For Info Related To Gastonia Drive-By Shooting

A reward of $25,000 is being offered by Governor Cooper for any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) implicated in the killing of 24-year-old Gavin Alexander Plyler.

According to Gastonia Police, on the night of May 5, a drive-by shooting occurred on East Park Avenue in Gastonia, showering Plyler’s home in 5.56 rounds while he was watching TV with his 11-year-old brother. Police found Mr. Plyler wounded by a bullet on the couch. He eventually succumbed to his injuries.
