College football is about to kick off in Charlotte as East Carolina University takes on App State tonight in the Bank of America Stadium.
Today’s game is part of the Duke’s Mayo Classic, a 3 day long college football extravaganza culminating with #3 ranked Clemson taking on #5 ranked Georgia on Saturday night in the Bank of America Stadium starting at at 7:30 pm.
The festivities will also include a fan fest this afternoon starting at 4:30pm, a free concert ft. Ingrid Andress tomorrow evening, and another fan fest on Saturday afternoon before the big Clemson-Georgia game.

Duke’s Mayo Classic FanFest Schedule
- 4:30 p.m.: FanFest opens
- 6:00 p.m.: Gates and team store open
- 7:00 p.m.: FanFest alcohol sales end
- 7:30 p.m.: Duke’s Mayo Classic kicks off
Getting around Uptown over the weekend will be a little more difficult for people who drive around Bank of America Stadium. Multiple streets around the stadium will be closed until 12 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5.
