Rather than discharging the treated water back into the Catawba River, it undergoes an additional purification process, during which it is tested for over 150 contaminants to ensure its safety and quality for brewing purposes.

Industry experts are touting this process as a visionary step forward, one that could serve as a vital blueprint for communities around the globe grappling with water scarcity issues. This approach showcases the potential for recycled water in various applications.

Beer enthusiasts and sustainability advocates will have the opportunity to sample this groundbreaking beer at Town Brewing’s upcoming 420 Festival.
