Eggspectation, celebrated for their all-day brunch and bar concept, has just opened their first Carolina location in Ballantyne Village.
Despite its name, the restaurant’s culinary journey extends far beyond morning delights, offering an array of smoothies, brunch-themed deserts, unique lunch and dinner options, utilizing fresh ingredients to craft dishes that are sure to surprise.
I stopped by today to try some of their most talked-about dishes, including; the Nashville Hot Benny (spicy fried chicken with hollandaise and poached eggs on an English muffin with some super crispy flat fries), Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes (fluffy flapjacks with blueberries, lemon ricotta cheese, and blueberry compote), a Tiramisu Waffle (layers of crispy waffles, ladyfingers, coffee syrup, and mascarpone cheese creme, and a Pagé Paradise (a bunch of fresh fruit blended with OJ).
They’re now open Monday – Sat 7am-9pm and Sun 7am – 8pm with Happy Hour Monday through Friday 3pm – 8pm in the Ballantyne Village.
