At least one person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a shooting in north Charlotte early Wednesday morning, according to a spokesperson at Charlotte MEDIC.
The incident occurred shortly after 4 am this morning on Wallace Ridge Drive in North Charlotte’s Highland Creek area.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not yet determined what led to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
