Yesterday a CMPD officer was shot in the leg while responding to call of a shooting in an occupied dwelling.
According to the official report, the officer was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officer did not return fire and the suspect is still at large.
While on scene, an officer was struck by gunfire in the upper leg and was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. There is no indication at this time officers returned fire.

This now marks the 3rd incident in a week where CMPD officers have faced gunfire during a call for service.
