Advent is a comprehensive coworking space just East of of Uptown in the Belmont neighborhood with tons of events, an art gallery, podcast room, outside patio, and free coffee and wifi.

Some online reviews said parking wasn’t the greatest for a space outside of Uptown, and that the meeting rooms can get crowded at times, but if a buzz of creative types inspires you, this might be your place.

By far the biggest coworking company in Charlotte, WeWork is a global powerhouse that is working to connect entrepreneurs across the globe. They currently have over 400,000 members with 400 locations in 99 cities across 26 different countries. Here in Charlotte, they just opened their 3rd massive facility in South End’s new RailYard development.

In addition to wifi, coffee, and scheduled events, many consider their most unique and alluring benefit to be the ability for members to book rooms at other locations.

Their different locations charge between $320-$350 per month for regular membership, $470-$550 for your own desk, and $620 – $18,400 for your own office.

One of Charlotte’s first Uptown coworking spaces, Packard Place has helped to launch many of Charlotte’s most successful startups, with members raising over $1 billion in total venture capitol since Packard Place first launched in 2010.

The founders of the space focus much of their attention on building community, offering a monthly breakfast and over 350 annual events for members, in addition to free coffee, wifi, and all the other standard perks.

The Launch Factory is designed to be Charlotte’s first upscale co-working space, located just 1 mile west of Uptown on Wilkinson, they feature competitive pricing for brand-new startups, all they way up to established companies with multiple employees.

Hygge the biggest local coworking company in Charlotte and they offer the most facilities and amenities out of all the companies here in the Queen City.

They feature a total of 5 locations in West Charlotte, North Charlotte, and Uptown, as well as a fully equipped podcast studio and separate photo studio.

They charge $149 per month for regular membership, $269 for your own desk, and $650+ for your own office. Their podcast studio is $15 an hour and their photo studio is $40 an hour for members.
