#1 Food Truck Friday Block Party

Novel NoDa will be closing the streets and hosting several food trucks live music and local breweries. Enjoy the free concert will munching on local food and sipping tasting brews.

#2 Nelly ft. TLC and Flo Rida Live in Charlotte

Nelly, one of the biggest rap stars of the 2000s, is joining legendary R&B group TLC along with Flo Rida for Charlotte’s concert event of the summer. Don’t miss “Hot in Here”, “Dilemma”, “No Scrubs”, and “Creep” live at the PNC Music Pavilion tonight starting at 7pm.

#3 24 Hours of Booty

24 Hours of Booty is back for the 18th annual 24-hour event on the Booty Loop in Charlotte!

This year’s festivities will be hosted at Queens University and Myers Park Traditional School.

The 3-mile Booty Loop runs through Myers Park Neighborhood. The community event hosts over 1,200 riders and 200 walkers who raise funds for Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children’s Hospital, The LIVESTRONG Foundation, and Queens University of Charlotte.

#4 Festival Colombiano de Charlotte

The Colombian Festival is a celebration of this South American country’s culture and history that’s held at Symphony Park.

Exotic Latin-infused music from both internationally acclaimed and local acts, artisans, authentic (and tasty) cuisine plus plenty of dancing are all part of the mix at this showcase of Colombia’s rich heritage. And as a family-friendly event, there’s also a kids area.

#5 Florida Georgia Line

In just a few short years, Florida Georgia Line has exploded onto the scene to become one of the biggest acts in country music. Some of their biggest hits include “This Is How We Roll” and “Dirt.” They’ll be performing live in Charlotte with special guests Dan + Shay, Morgan Wallen, and Canaan Smith.

#6 3rd Annual Carolina Pickers Festival

Today and tomorrow join hundreds of other collectors as they trade, buy, and sell pre-1970’s items, including; miscellaneous antiques, advertising signs, gas pumps, vintage toys, antique bicycles, jars & bottles, industrial salvage, primitives, barn finds, antique transportation related items, antique furniture…you never know what may show up!

Location for the event is at the Rowan County Fairgrounds in Salisbury, NC just off instate I85 at 1560 Julian Rd.

Admission fee is $3 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. Military free.

#7 Pinhouse Grand Opening Party

On Saturday, July 27th at 10 am doors will open for the first time and the much anticipated Pinhouse will be having it’s Grand Opening Party! The two-story, Great Gatsby-esque taproom is complete with 72 self-serve taps, a second story patio that overlooks vertans park, and Duckpin Bowling!

#8 Parrot Poker Run

The annual boat poker run is back! That one day a year that you sun and fun for a cause! We will have pre-registration on Friday 7/26/19 from 6-8 at Papa Doc’s. Same day registration will be from 11-1 also at Papa Doc’s. The in between stops are Harbor Towne, Commodore Yacht Club, Pier 49, Red Fez, Pier 88 and Goat Island. You can visit any stop in any order. We will have the winners party at the NC Sandbar. Last card in at 4:30 with the winner (and biggest loser) announced at 5:00.

#9 WWE NXT

Sunday night starting at 5pm in Concord, some of the biggest names in Wrestling will be performing live at the Cabarrus Arena.

WWE NXT is a reformatted version of WWE’s FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling). During the first five seasons, rookie wrestlers were paired with professional wrestlers to develop their performance skills and characters.

Examples of challenges include keg carrying, 30-second promos and assault courses.

#10 Sublime with Rome

Check out some of America’s most legendary Reggae performers this Sunday night at the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Sublime the band may be no longer, but the spirit of Sublime lives on thanks to Sublime with Rome. Former Sublime member Eric Wilson founded this reggae band in 2009, and Sublime with Rome has been an active force in the reggae/alt-rock scene ever since.
