#1 University City Wine Fest


The University City Partners just announced the first annual Wine Vault University City Wine Fest presented by Greystar and University City Connect. The Wine Fest, a first and only outdoor spring festival in the region, will take place around the lake and boardwalk at the Shoppes at University Place on Saturday, April 22.

#2 Charlotte Knights vs. Rochester Red Wings


This weekend the Charlotte Knights will be playing 3 games against the Rochester Red Wings Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon at the BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlott.

#3 Moo and Brew Fest ft. Blues Traveler

#8 Earth Day Celebration


The annual Earth Day Celebration will be hosted on the Anne Springs Close Greenway on Saturday, April 22nd. Festivities will kick off with an opening ceremony at 10a.m. near the Dairy Barn. Other events and activities will include border collie demonstrations, cane pole fishing, canoeing & kayaking, face painting, geocaching, lead-line horse rides and farm animals.

Enjoy free entry and activities for all ages from hiking and kayaking to horseback rides, in addition to new events scheduled for this year including a Dog Park Open House from 10am – 2pm. More than 3,000 visitors are expected throughout the day.

#9 Tuck Fest


Tuck Fest is a three-day festival that celebrates the outdoor lifestyle through competitions, exhibitions, demos, and live music, featuring St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Langhorn Slim & The Law. The festival will take place April 21nd through the 23rd at the U.S. National Whitewater Center.

The festival features a variety of competitions you can participate in, including; trail running, kayaking, biking, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, and adventure racing.
