The 2 teams that will face off in the heart of Charlotte for the 2019 Belk Bowl have just been announced.
The University of Kentucky will be facing off against the Virginia Tech Hokies on Tuesday, December 31 at 12 p.m. at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium. This will be Virginia Tech’s 2nd Belk Bowl appearance and Kentucky’s first.

The Belk Bowl’s official twitter account made the announcement this afternoon with a clip form the wildly popular Mandalorian (Disney’s Star Wars series) by placing the 2 teams’ logos in baby Yoda’s eyes;

Last month, Belk Bowl officials announced that this will be their last year hosting the iconic bowl in the city of Charlotte. They are currently on the hunt for the new host city for 2020 and beyond.
