This past Wednesday, many of the finest chefs in the Charlotte region joined together to announce Crave Charlotte, the city’s first annual food, wine and mixology festival. The food and drink festival will exhibit the finest culinary professionals, restaurants, mixologists and winemakers in the city of Charlotte from May 6-9, 2020. Presented by Greystar Apartments, Kimpton Hotels and Extreme Property Services, Crave will offer culinary experiences across the city with the main event on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Romare Bearden Park.

“Charlotte has a lot of great culinary talent,” said Darlene Heater, Executive Director of University City Partners and sponsor of Cuisine on the Green. “It is important for us to provide an opportunity to showcase their great work, and bring people together over food and drinks. We hope that this will become a signature event for Charlotte, attracting visitors from out of town to see what we have to offer.”

Crave Charlotte welcomes attendees to celebrate more than 20 of the best chefs and mixologists in Charlotte. Intimate dining events will take place over the course of several days. Tickets are limited for the personal experiences with featured chefs. The main event at Romare Bearden Park will feature wine, exceptional plates, cocktails and craft brews. Proceeds from Crave Charlotte will benefit Rivendell Farms of the Carolinas, which works to help individuals across the Carolinas to enjoy their community through sharing good food, living healthy lifestyles and supporting local farmers.
