To kick off 2021, North American Van Lines has released their 2020 Migration Report, covering the state-to-state relocation of millions of Americans.
To compile the report, the company analyzed data for household moves in and out of the states, focusing on states with a high proportion of inbound or outbound moves to determine the most desirable states in the nation.
According to their report, the top five inbound states in 2020 were Idaho, Arizona, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina, with Tennessee overtaking South Carolina from the 2019 results.
