Charlotte’s annual bowl game (previously known as the Belk Bowl) now has a new title sponsor and therefore a new name – The Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
The Greenville, SC headquartered condiment company just signed a multi-year contract with the Charlotte Sports Foundation to maintain the title sponsorship of our city’s main bowl game at Panthers’ Stadium in Uptown Charlotte. This year’s game will take place on Sept. 26th, 2020 as Wake Forest takes on Notre Dame for The Duke’s Mayo Classic.

In a press release, Sauer Brands (owner of Duke Mayonnaise) CEO Martin Kelly said; “We are very eager to spread our name across college football with the Duke’s Mayo Classic and the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. Sponsoring these great games is the perfect opportunity to increase our brand recognition throughout the country. But even more importantly, it is a way for us to impact the local community.
