The team that brought you some of the most beloved SNL shorts is stepping up their game and filming their first feature-length movie right here the Queen City.
SNL’s Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy recently sold an untitled new movie to NBCUniversal’s Universal Pictures, which they’ll write, produce, and star in. According to an interview they did with Variety, the film “centers on three childhood friends who live and work together. When the threesome decides they don’t like their life trajectory, they set off to find a gold treasure that is rumored to be buried in the nearby mountain.”
They are currently seeking background actors and extras for the new film.
