In another positive sign that the COVID-19 pandemic is ending, Regal Cinemas just announced they will be re-opening their last 2 shut down theaters in the Charlotte area.

The company reopened their first theater last month in Charlotte’s Stonecrest shopping center, and have since reopened 5 more (including Phillips Place, Franklin Square, Manchester, Birkdale, and Starlight).

The final 2 Charlotte-area locations they are about to open are:

  • Regal Cinebarre Arboretum (8008 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC, 28277)
  • Regal Boone Cinema (210 New Market Street Centre, Boone, NC 28607)

The company will be officially opening their last closed down screens on May 21st, and will feature Lionsgate’s Spiral, and new movies including Those Who Wish Me Dead and Wrath of Man with a full slate of additional titles. Future releases opening in the coming weeks include A Quiet Place Part IICruella and F9.

Reopening plans include a wide range of health and safety measures that adhere to the CinemaSafe protocol and guidelines.
