President Donald Trump has just announced plans to visit the Tar Heel State.
Last night he tweeted that he’s “Looking forward to soon being in North Carolina to hold a big rally for wonderful Dan Bishop, who is running for Congress…”

The President Tweet also accuses Dan McCready (Bishop’s opponent) of liking the ‘Squad’ more than North Carolina, in reference to four ethnic minority Democrat members of Congress who the President recently told to ‘go back’ to the ‘broken’ and ‘crime-infested’ countries ‘from which they came’.
The special election between Dan Bishop and Dan McCready is now set for September 10th. The election is being held due to Republican Mark Harris winning and being found guilty of voter fraud, Harris declined to run again in the special election.
There has only been 1 poll of the race that’s been released so far, showing both Bishop and McCready tied at 46% each.
