The President of the United States is coming to Charlotte to perform a midterm campaign rally.

President Trump will be holding his rally at the Bojangles Coliseum today, with doors opening at 4pm.

You can now register for free tickets on his website here.

“We will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will Make America Great Again,” the president noted on the rally website.

The City of Charlotte sent out an official press release, noting “Motorists traveling on routes between Charlotte Douglas International Airport – CLT and Bojangles’ Coliseum on Friday should prepare for traffic and delays related to President Donald Trump’s visit to Charlotte. Some roads will be closed completely for short periods of time during the afternoon commute and again in the evening. Anyone traveling in the area during those times – including Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) riders – is asked to plan accordingly.”

Some devoted supports who wanted to be close to the president began setting up late last night in the cold rain;
