Last night, the Charlotte region was hit with some of the worst storms it’s seen in months.
Flash flooding occurred all around Uptown Charlotte, stranding many cars in several feet of water.

In Iredell county, a tornado touched down along Swann Road, according to local deputies (although the National Weather Service has not issued an official confirmation).

Emergency crews now report that the cleanup could take months.
