One man is now in custody after reports of shots fired yesterday at the Concord Mills Mall.
Concord PD first received the call at about 4pm. At the mall, officers found 2 men in a heated verbal dispute. 1 of the men was armed.
Police put the armed man in custody and allowed the mall to reopen at about 5:25 pm last night.
A verbal dispute btw 2 males occurred near entry 6. 1 male had a handgun & both males along w/others nearby ran from the area. No evidence of any shots fired. The male with a gun is in custody.
