Yesterday evening, emergency crews responded to a pedestrian getting hit by a CATS Blue Line train near one of the neighborhood’s busiest intersections.
The incident happened around 6pm last night at the West Tremont Crossing, just off Camden Road near Hawkers Asian Street Food, according to CATS.
Multiple agencies, including MEDIC and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, responded to the scene.
MEDIC said the pedestrian suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
