Panthers’ WR Muhsin Muhammad Helps Open Charlotte Region’s Only Back Yard Burgers

Legendary Panthers’ WR Muhsin Muhammad has just helped to open a new burger restaurant in Gastonia – Back Yard Burgers.

Muhammad (aka ‘Moose’) spent 11 years pulling in catches for the Carolina Panthers and is now a managing partner with Axum Capital Partners, an investment firm that owns the national burger chain.

This week, the firm announced the opening of the only Back Yard Burgers in the Charlotte region (other locations had been open around the Charlotte region, but all closed over the past 20 years).

Back Yard Burger’s new Gastonia location is located at 3415 E Franklin Blvd. in Gastonia. It’s the first location in the Charlotte region and the 45th in the country.
