NC Voter Registration Deadline Approaching for Upcoming General Election

Eligible voters in North Carolina who want to cast their ballot in the upcoming 2022 General Election must now register to vote on or before Friday, October 14.

If you miss that deadline, you can still register and vote at the same time during the one-stop early voting period, October 20 through November 5, at any early voting site in their county. County-by-county early voting sites and schedules are available at the State Board of Elections’ One-Stop Early Voting Site Search.

If you have an NC driver’s license or other DMV identification, you can register to vote online here.

You can also complete a Voter Registration Application in English or Spanish on paper and return it to their county board of elections office by 5 p.m. October 14.
