North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has just issued a new mandate that limits all indoor gatherings to no more than 10 people.

Executive Order 176 will officially take effect on Friday, Nov. 13th, and will last until Friday, Dec. 4th.

The announcement came yesterday in an attempt to curb the rising number of COVID-19 cases across our state.

“This reduction in our indoor gathering limit aims to slow the spread and bring down our numbers,” said Cooper. “It also sends a serious signal to families, friends and neighbors across our state. Success in slowing the spread will help our businesses.”

The new executive order doesn’t change reduced capacity limits for businesses that already have clear directions. For more information, read Frequently Asked Questions about Executive Order 176.
