When the pandemic-era eviction moratorium ended, it left thousands in North Carolina fearful about losing their homes.

According to a new report by Lending Tree, an estimated 15% of residents in our state are currently behind on their rent.

North Carolina’s HOPE Program is serving low-income renters in 88 North Carolina counties, and 12 of our counties have received direct federal aid to help an even larger number of renters, including Mecklenburg, Union, Gaston, and Cabarrus.
