This morning a massive fire completely engulfed Rock Hill’s Gospel Light Baptist Church on West Main St.
By the time area firefighters arrived, flames were pouring out all the windows and through the roof.
Melanin Powers captured this video on her cell phone as she was driving by;
West main street was blocked for most of the morning as crews battled the flames;

Rock Hill’s fire chief has now said that the church’s sanctuary is a complete loss.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), along with local police and fire departments are now investigating the cause of the fire.
