A new twist on an old game is now expanding here in the Queen City. Major League Bocce has just announced they’ll be starting 3 new divisions around the city of Charlotte in Montford, NoDa, and Southwest Charlotte.

According to their website, Major League Bocce was first founded in Washington, DC, and “was originally known as the DC Bocce League. After several years operating the DC Bocce League to great success, the founders put together an expansion strategy to bring bocce to cities beyond the DC area. In 2011, the team launched Major League Bocce in Philadelphia. Three years later, the League landed in Charlotte.”

Major League Bocce is now registering teams for their 3 new Charlotte-area leagues.
