A specialized materials manufactured in the heart of Gastonia was just ranked as one of America’s fastest-growing companies for 2019.
According to Inc. Magazine, Saprex made $5.4 million last year, roughly 900% more than 3 years ago, ranking them 489 out of the top 5,000 companies in America.
“Founded in 2009 and based out of Gastonia, NC, we focus on advancing materials exposed to extreme environments”, Saprex’s website notes.

According to Inc Magazine, “Companies on the 2019 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2015 to 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2018.”
