This state-of-the-art facility, set to be the largest film studio in the state, will bring new opportunities for various productions to the region.

Situated on a sprawling 200-acre property in Spring Hope, just a short drive from Raleigh, Ascent Studios is set to feature five production stages that will encompass a total of 170,000 square feet. With construction slated for completion in late 2023, Ascent Studios is poised to revolutionize the North Carolina film landscape.

According to their website, they chose North Carolina due to the fact that “filmmakers receive a 25% cash rebate on all materials and labor spent on a qualifying production, paid out by the NC Film and Entertainment Grant.”

The facilities won’t just offer cutting-edge interior space and advanced technology for all types of productions; it will also provide a breathtaking backdrop for filming. The studio’s surroundings will boast stunning exteriors, including picturesque fields, lush forests, and serene lakes.

Ascent Studios promises to be a game-changer for North Carolina’s film industry, attracting a variety of productions and showcasing the state’s natural beauty. With its incredible facilities and incentives, Ascent Studios is set to become a premier destination for filmmakers worldwide.
