Last night a shootout took place in front of the McDonalds in South End.
According to CMPD detectives, two men approached a group already gathered in front of the restaurant. A suspect in the group then shot at one of two men. The victim then shot back toward the suspect and the group dispersed from the scene.
The victim who was shot then called Medic and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police now believe the incident was caused by an attempted robbery
